Checking 'exchanged' tickets after the game?
« on: March 6, 2015, 01:58:10 pm »
All,

If you 'return' your ST for a particular game, is there a way of finding out after the game whether the club 're-sold' it?

I returned my ticket for Burnley and my purchase history just says 'returned' - does that mean it was sold on ?

Or will I have to wait until the renewal forms go out?

Have a look at the purchase history accessed via the main page, NOT the one under 'My Account'.

Above the list of games there should be 'Banked Credit' and 'Reward Credit'.

'Banked Credit' shows how much you've got back, so if there's money there then the ticket was re-sold.

Thanks. Will take a look later

There are 3 statuses for a season ticket: BOOKED - in use for selected game, RETURNED - available for resale, RESOLD - no longer available. This is available under My Account and Ticket Exchange.

I returned mine for Burnley and it said they were 're-sold' when I checked just before the match.  Presumably if it just said ' returned 'then it hadn't been re-sold

That's right & ypu'll see the amount in either Banked or Reward Credit, depending on which home game it is.  It will either get credited to the 2015-16 season ticket, or if the game is after Burnley, it will get credited to the 2016-2017 season.

Thanks a lot. I can see the banked credit and all looks good.

I had forgotten that the 'credit' off the next season stops after a certain game. Lucky that Burnley was that game.

Next time pass it on at face value, don't be letting the club sell your 35/40 ticket for 56 quid :)

Finding someone to take your tickets for the least attractive midweek game of the season, is not quite as simple as that. Especially when you have to arrange getting the card to someone, and also getting it back. Far better to use the official exchange in circumstances like this.

I sent my card off and it never returned, It ended up costing me £10 to get a replacement.
