There's been a lot of talk recently about whether he is/will be Liverpool's best player ever.

Now, as much as I love Luis...I don't think he should even be in the discussion at this moment. Maybe in terms of talent/ability he is up there; but in terms of service to the club it isn't much of a debate for me.

Anyway, he'll probably score a hat-trick now! :p

Bit upset with this to be honest. Lucas is on the field FFS.

Suarez and Sakho are the the next best "leaders" in the squad after Gerrard - more so than Agger.

That's not to say Agger and Lucas aren't influential, but the other 2 are natural born leaders. Relax.
Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.

Why does Lucas deserve to be captain, because he's been here longer ?

Agger should captain the side in Gerrard's absence,  but if he's not starting I have no problem with Suarez having the armband.

Not sure if the captaincy will bring the best of the rest of the team or will blunt Suarez' edge... It can go either way. I hope it gives everyone a lift.

Celebrating as if Sterling had squared it and he'd got his hat-trick when Raheem slotted home. Love it, he's boss

Ok Henry. Offer him 250 k a week now. Right now. He's seriously entering the Messi-Ronaldo bracket now. We have one of the top 3 players in the world in our side.

Top in league goals, second in assists. 11 games. European Golden boot race number 1. Fucking genius.

So much to like about him today. Not only his performance, but the way he was celebrating with Sterling or Flanagan looking really happy for them. Or how he wanted the ball played forward in the last seconds of the game to still score another goal when our defenders/midfielders were happy to keep possession. The guy is just mental, but most of the time in a very good way... ;)

He's become a true team player. 2 fantastic assists, Coutinho should have had 1 too off a Suarez pass.

Had 2 goals, 2 assists and the ridiculous thing is, on a fully 'on' day, he'd have had 4.

Fantastic! Amazing player. Incredible! 17 goals after 16 rounds. And how many assists? The only thing missing? 5 games...

We should do whatever there is in the book to keep him, have never seen a more exciting player in a Liverpool shirt, not Owen, not Torres not Garcia and not even Gerrard.

He can lead us to win the league all by himself.

Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.

Let's try putting our six tallest players standing across the goalmouth, Mignolet sweeping the box outside it, three runners and Suarez up top.  Apparently that outscores at least 10 teams in the league.
And if you can do it all with a proud boner, then why the hell not?

Gerrard didn't sound very confident of him staying afterwards. Perhaps reading too much into it? It's cuntish of Sly Sports to even discuss that kind of stuff with an active Liverpool player in the studio.

Enjoying him at the moment though. Classsssssssss

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.
