Unless you've had a good pint of Guinness in a proper Irish pub you're not allowed comment on it's niceness.
You think I'm not Irish or something?
Spent my college years working in pubs. And no matter how often the Guinness rep would clean the pipes, or we changed out the gas or changed kegs, it would always be same.
Do you want to know how much Guinness marketing holds a sway on pubs and drinkers? The two pour technique hasn't been necessary for at least 50 years. Yet barmen still religiously do the old fill it 80% way, leave to settle and top up two minutes later. Used to do it myself. Very proud of my pour I was. Makes zero difference to the taste or the head.
