I have to collect 1 ticket in Kiev for a friend of mine. I'm the lead booker on the order, my friend's details are put in as the user of the ticket on the card of another mate who was successful in the ballot. What does he need to bring to collect the ticket? Passport, Driving License and/or utility bill and picture of the credit card used to buy?

Just ordered this for Kiev off Amazon for 8 quid.  The official bucket hats have shot up to 20 notes. Not paying that as I will almost certainty lose it in a pissed up celebration somewhere along the line.

These are all over town at all of the street stalls with memorabilia on them.

I got mine from the shop at the top of the escalators in St Johns.

At Athens there were issues but  those issues were to do with a lot of people being in there  who didn't actually have a ticket - there were physically too many people in that stand because of this.

Every single euro away we stand with our mates, it's common practice I'm sure you know. THis season for example, e.g. Seville, Rome, I've walked in and shown my ticket to a bizzie or steward for a general direction of where my seat is but they shoo you away saying sit anywhere. Rome a lot went down the front but a big group of my mates went towards the back so we could all stand together. I think it balances itself out a lot in this way.

Granted there's a bigger allocation here, but I think as long as their ticket checks are up to scratch and people aren't getting in without a ticket (lets face it some will try) then it will be absolutely fine. Also I think some of our lower tier is segregated anyway so you won't get en mass  people  going to one spot. Can't see there being a problem based on this.

The problem is this Stadium is one big open concourse and if stewards  are not  separating each block which I think they wont you can get to anywhere in The liverpool section.. which will cause problems in the end.

Just need to hurry up and confirm it now whatever it is so I can plan my lift there and timings etc.
Tell you what though, I hope it's like 4am onwards, because anything else in my book is Friday!

It also makes no sense, because how do they know what time anyone's flight leaves?

Unless they're going to implement some pre-queue thing so the hold back is at the park, and not the airport. I.e if you're on the 3am flight, you get on this bus, 3:15am, this bus. That sounds too complicated though.

Just to quote myself here. This is exactly what they are doing. If the park is big enough, I think this should work fine.

After the game get to Shevchenko Park. Then there will be massive electronic signs up telling us which buses leave at which time. Then get make sure you head the right bus about 30minutes before. They then leave 2 hours before departure time, which is enough time to get to the airport, clear customs and board.

In theory - this should be a decent plan.

Means if you're on a late plane - you've got somewhere decent to wait.

A 'Fan Zone' specifically for LFC supporters travelling to Kiev from LJLA, will be open at the western end of the terminal. The Fan Zone can be accessed via the rotunda doors by the taxi rank (close to the entrance to Spar). There will be directional signage throughout the airport to assist fans.

LJLA colleagues will be in the Fan Zone to assist with your journey from the fan zone to the plane and refreshments will be on hand for supporters. Check in for each of the flights will be made within the Fan Zone. When check in opens for each flight, it will be announced in this area alongside regular updates.

Apart from the fact we arrive at 14:10 and then probably spend a few hours waiting on a bus and getting bus into centre, effectively giving about 20minutes to see a bit of Kiev before the game!

This is correct based on most day trips I've done.
When you get to the airport - just show Passport and sometimes booking confirmation. (Always have it).
They check you in then.

And they give you 2 printouts - boarding card for way out, and also for return.

Don't lose the return, because they won't print a replacement at the destination airport.

So it's right - it means just keep hold of your return pass.

I’m on the 09.00 TC flight. Quite happy with that, as I can get a reasonable sleep before leaving my house for the airport. Downside is very little free time in Kiev, I suspect, but I’ll get a couple of beers down!

I think you should be fine to collect it as long as you bring the payment card, ID and utility bill.
But just to make sure I’d ask your mate to join you in case they wanna make sure the details put in matches the person using it.

Fly to Lublin, 25 of us, then coach booked and already supplied and chilling as we speak - 4 bottles of JD, 8 bottles of voddy, some other shit that I've never heard of and 800 cans. Not really arsed about the rest of the trip if am honest, something abar hotels and a football match, but ye, 800 cans. Can't wait to see that as a single mass of aceness.
