If Enrique keeps his performance levels at the same standard as last week I see no reason to worry about Downing on the left, on the contrary we could see a performance from Downing; as a result of security Enrique has the potential to provide.

I'd rather Henderson in there to be honest, based on both of their performances this season (even when Sahin's been played in position). He gives us more mobility and solidity in the middle.

Re Assaidi -  Suso, Shelvey and Cole showed a lot more during the week, justifiably out on merit for me.

Good team that should be able to get a result. Suso and Sahin have been too lightweight for me. Last chance saloon for Downing surely. Feeling strangely confident although I'd still take a draw.

hope we've got a remedy for allen, they knew his game to a point (expectantly) last time, had michu dropping back on his every touch against him, hopefully with hendo they wont be able to do it this time

I would expect it to be the 2 in front of the 1 again. i.e Allen holding whilst Gerrard and Henderson are box-to-box.

Pretty close to the team I've wanted to see for a while, provided Downing is either right forward or behind Enrique (oddly). The one big question mark will be Suarez and Gerrard for me, as they both try pretty difficult passes/moves quite often and that could cause us to lose a lot of possession high up the pitch, something which has been our downfall a few times.

Really think Downing will be LB. I think Rodgers would have choosen Suso or Cole instead of Downing if he wanted to play him as an attacker.
