Honestly pathetic. Every Everton player wanted it more and have deserved it

Just glad 4th is more or less secure because i can't see this group of players winning another game this season.
Soccer - let's face it, its not really about a game of ball anymore is it?

Can you blame him? He’s watching what we are too, the players have just gone to shit.

So why's he keep picking them then? I know the forward line was enforced, but Szobozlai? Jones? Konate? None of those are in form and two of them have been outplayed by their replacements (Elliott and Quansah)
I don't agree, he'd go to Legoland. Bye.

He's given up. How Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah have played 90 minutes is shameful. Losing 2-0 to Everton while chasing the league and bring on 3 defenders and a DM. Na.
Leaving them out there so they don’t escape how shit they’ve been.

I almost, ALMOST feel it would have been better if we didn't challenge. If we were just in a top 4 race it wouldn't be as bad.

But backlash would be that we should have won the title and the players fucked it.

Now tonight cannot be condoned, no question about it. But I do think the overall mood about this squad would be better if we were never in the title challenge, which by all right we never should have been in

Not sure if the United draw was the turning point, or actually it was inevitable as we were making hard work of games we were winning,

No idea how we lasted this long in the title race.

Been abysmal since we threw it all away in the FA Cup vs United. Never recovered from that.

End of an era.

Half of them shouldn't get on the pitch for the rest of the season. Trent, Nunez, Salah, Szoboszlai and Konate should all be fucked off.

It was the cup game for me rather than the league game. We haven't looked the same side since.

People will turn on the players as that’s modern football.

We have been good this season but something went horribly wrong since that United draw.
Kind of a shame. I think it's since we're all keyboard warriors now.

Yeah, that gave us a wobble for sure didn't it

At the end of the day, this squad isn’t quite good enough. Being in a title race until mid April was more than anyone expected at the start of the season.

I genuinely think the rebuild for Slot (or whoever) is bigger than we think. We need to re-build the mentality as well because i do think it is fair to say (in the last 2 seasons at least) that senior players have let Klopp and the club down a little.

Mentality Mice

Absolutely bottled in since loss to Man U in cup.
Since then it's been completely unacceptable.

We can't outfight a shite Everton when we are supposedly competing for the league.

Klopps goosed and needs his well deserved break. The players have massively let him down

A real shame it is ending in this way

Some big moments ultimately went against us, which would have given us a bigger buffer at this stage. Tottenham away, Arsenal no penalty, City no penalty

Having said that, we seem to have run out of legs/energy/ideas in the last few weeks.

Agree, and a lot of these players are legends. The boys in the team that won the league in 2020 are forever legends, Klopp the same.

I’m not Klopp. One thing for sure is he can’t control how shite the forward line have been at finishing or how little fight they have shown. The players have let him down so fucking bad.

Why couldn't we give Danns at least few minutes? These changes are truly awful.

It really doesn't feel like we are left in a good place or whatever words were used. Looks like a lot of work required.

As I keep saying, we were lucky to still be in it after Christmas. All the last minute wins and comebacks. We shouldn't be having to resort to that to get wins.

Without those last minute winners we'd be fighting for 4th. Regroup and get a grip for next season because we've looked utterly clueless for a while.

Precisely. We haven’t had a statement win all season. We’ve come from behind so many times in other games, which just isn’t sustainable. This is a new squad, and there is a lot of quality there but they’re just not quite as good as the peak Klopp team of 2018-2022.
