Just spoken to the ticket office - they've still got loads of people to phone - have only really just got started with ringing round.

Said they've only had about 800 applications so far - so everyone who's already applied will be OK.

Skittle there's one thing to learn re: Euro aways - never believe anything re: allocations until the club have announced it. Rumours have underestimated every allocation in the last two years. Often wildy.

I'm going to the ticket office tomorrow when its quiet and could pick it up if you want. Just find out what they need for a third party collection.

I think as long as you have informed the TO of the person who will be collecting the tickets and they have proof (ie utility bill or driving licence) there want be a problem, TO will tell you anyway.

That the person collecting the tickets has proof of their own residence (I'm assuming in these cases the person picking up the tickets is actually collecting their own as well and is an ETC member).

Dont think they have to be collecting anything, as long as TO have been tolled that "Fred Jones" is picking up a ticket for "John Smith", and "Fred Jones" turns up with proof that he is whom he says he is (which of cause he would have if they were picking up there own).

Thanks Roger, but it seems you would have to have a letter from me saying you were authorised to pick mine up. Given that whether I get to the game on Saturday is outside my control right now, I have asked them to send it registered post. That in itself is a hassle as it will get sent back to the PO and then have to be picked up again locally

Phone the ticket office on 0151 264 2285 and tell them that you want Roger to pick up yout ticket. They will put your ticket with Roger's. He only has to go and collect them and take proof of who he is with him. You do not need to send authorisation to Roger. (it's only an £11 football ticket not an invite to the Queen's garden party FFS

Steve I did just that, spoke to a young man who told me what i posted above. Roger would need to bring the letter with him.

Got my phone call today, and am going to pick it up on Saturday.

Got told that I would need ID, but not told that my passport wouldn't be sufficient. I guess that these are too easy to forge compared to a letter from British Gas.

Just been down to the ground. Filled in a form there and then,waited two minutes, got my ticket. As said on a previous thread,no assigned seat numbers,uncovered,sector C next to the press which means probably by the TV which means lesser coverage for the banners. There are still tickets left, as at 3PM. Re the tickets, I had ID and credit card so it was made easy.

Not that easy for me Jon

Im a wheelchair user and they only have 2 tickets and 3 people have applied but T.O said earlier in the week i am getting one.

Heading down to Stanstead for flight on Monday night so hope they get a move on.
