Of course. But we have been quick to jump on his back, as well as Purslows when they have made mistakes.

We should be willing to do the same when they have done well. It looks like in these circumstances they have done well for us (although we cannot be sure yet of course)
If they were about when Parry and Moores sold it to the Yanks ,would you want them to be so quick to say thanks to them. We'll see in the future by the actions of Henry and his crew if Broughton deserves thanks or not

Couldn't raise this in the other thread "moving forwards... the role of SOS" as it's locked.  Anyhow, After this takeover completes (hopefully) I am guessing  that NESV would consider keeping on CP & IA for at least the short term transition period and quite possibly integrate them into their new board.
Coming to my point, this would seriously marginalise SOS as relations with CP have totally broken down. How on earth would dialogue pertaining to an ownership stake for the fans be possible in such circumstances?

It's an unfortunate situation, but I'm sure that both sides should have the maturity and sense to see that there has to be dialogue between supporters and the club, and that name-calling and endless recriminations over past disagreements help no-one but the opposition. It may be that CP (assuming he's kept on) would prefer someone else to handle those discussions, but that would be a decision on the club's part. SoS, in my opinion, should be ready and willing to sit down and talk with anyone from the club.

Maybe that's the answer right there, for CP to delegate those discussions to A.N. Other. Fairly certain that SoS would be both ready and willing for talks and in fact would attempt to instigate them.

I would have thought that if this war is won there would such an outpouring of relief and goodwill that V.E day would look like a tea party and SOS and CP would kiss and make up.
Having said that we did start squaring up to the Ruskies almost immediately after victory in WWII.
