The Mexes goal is better than Zlatan's.

10x better.

Ajax had won 12 and tied once in their history against Bundesliga sides at home. First home loss to a Bundesliga team in their history.

Another fallen giant.

Zlatan's goal was just a typical Zlatan goal, this is Mexes..I mean wtf? Mexes?? Did not even think he could score.

Sweet baby Jesus that Mexes goal. Is there some kind of outrageous bicycle kick disease sweeping Europe at the moment? I wouldnt mind a dose.

Great finish as well by El Shaarawy, he's having a quality season almost singlehandedly dragging Milan along.

Mourinho is talking shite there isn't he (I know, shocked me too). He said he's only finished runner up twice and both times won the competition. Didn't we top the group when we were in with them in 05/06? I'm sure we did hence why they then went out to Barca.

How awful Real Madrid defense is? In particular, Pepe is just pure garbage. Totally shit in Europe. Toure was awful, too, IMO.

On another note, Arsenal didn't impress me. They are winning but their good football is gone. Malaga-Zenit was pretty entertaining.

I would say Arbeloa is the worst in Madrid's back four. I think he's still there to fulfill Spanish 'quota' in the team.

I am hesitant to say anything negative about Arbeloa in here, but he is a definition of average. Not only average, he became a dirty dirty player under Mourinho. He'd lick Jose's ass if he were to order it, it seems.

He is the worst player in the Spanish NT first team as well, if Puyol-Pique were both fit, he wouldn't play I'd imagine. Shocking technical ability, useless in attack and pretty average in defense. His defensive abilities are pushing, harassing and fouling about 90% of times.

The most hilarious thing about ManCity-Madrid match was the fact that Real Madrid players were dropping like flies, diving all over the place and faking injuries. Usually they are the ones to talk about playing like men and not falling to the ground, but guess what, they and Jose are going to change their views as long as it suits them. Absolutely pussy team with no personality. "Hard men" like Arbeloa, Ramos and Pepe are nowhere to be seen when they face more physical teams than themselves, it's only against Barca midgets they want to get physical :lmao

Admittedly, Ramos was rather good as CB with Pique on the last Euro. Pepe was outstanding with Portugal, too. But somehow those two together are piss poor at Madrid. Adding to that is Arbeloa, who the club is getting a better player in Johnson. I think he's the worst right-back among top clubs in the world.

Really? I thought they defended well. Casillas had practically nothing to do all night, not even after Arbeloa was unjustly sent off.

Absolutely pussy team with no personality.

That's Madrid. Last night's match was sad to watch with the amount of rolling around on the floor. I first noticed Madrid time-wasting at 61 minutes (they were probably at it even earlier) at 1-0 up. Half an hour to go, and they were being as slow as possible, absolute joke.

Last night's match was supposed to be a spectacle of the two best leagues in the world pitting their champions against each other, and it was shite.
