To stop them kicking off quickly and thus giving them less time to equalise. Sound thinking from Divock. The much maligned Divock. I blame Milner or whoever it was

Loan with an option to buy presumably so when he’s out injured for nearly the entire season they can ship him back at no cost.

Calvert whatever he's called has done nothing for about 3 seasons.

He had that purple patch season where everything he hit went in, other than before and after that purple patch he is utter shite and a sicknote to boot.

More hilarity by Pickford 3 days after that Origi injury time winner, Everton 2-0 up at home in the 94 minute vs Newcastle, drew 2-2 with Pickford trying to save the shot from behind his line :lmao

When he was strongly linked with Arsenal about a year ago Sky kept running a compilation of that purple patch.  They all count but I reckon he only knew where about half of those efforts on goal were heading, it looked like just a case of get something on the ball.  That was his Marcus Stewart season and it's never happening again.

In his whole career he's had about three months where he was scoring at a decent rate, but in fairness to him, he hasn't been fit for more than a couple of games at a time since.

How it looks? Constructed with real bricks? A large Victorian Park as a back garden? A soon-to-be 61K capacity? An iconic image that  conjures up all of those great European nights and trophy presentations? A ground that will be offering up Premier League football for the foreseeable future?
They really are clutching at straws for one-up-manship if they think we'd swap Anfield for the significantly smaller BMD and aside from capacity, there are many reasons why. A few scratch-and-sniff pictures of BDM on a warm day would be a good starting point  ::)

He’s shite. Wasn’t that long ago they were hoping City would pay £60m plus for him.

On the subject of wages one of the Toffeeweb sages was slagging of that “greedy bastard” Henderson ( Henderson got off quite likely compared to the roasting he’s been getting here) and bemoaning that the tax portion of his current weekly pay of £200,000 wouldn’t find its way into HMRC’s coffers.

They don’t realise that we will be still, paying high wages to current and new players so they? Economics not their strong point.

To be fair on them, you can’t blame them. It’s scientific. Let me explain: they have suffered from sensory deprivation for decades, a form of torture that has left them unable to process their senses.

They even call themselves bitter, so that’s taste. Sight? They’ve been watching absolute shite for decades, if they don’t have a restricted view, that is. Sound? The vicious booing at half time has given most of them tinnitus.

The new stadium gives the final hurrah for the senses, a strong and deeply unpleasant smell of human shite.

It’s no wonder they can’t understand the majesty of Anfield, which delights each and every sense. Especially the sense of superiority.

I actually feel sorry for them trudging away from watching shite week after week, as now they have to smell what they are witnessing in some weird Americana 1950’s 4D travelling theme park experiment.
