Should be 4 or 5, honestly.

Can't believe the ref gave Sturridge offside when he was through on goal together with Suarez; that was a guaranteed goal. Then to call a foul on Sterling when he was rugby tackled, he would have been through and in with a good chance to score as well.

Still, hard to be upset when you're 3-0 up at halftime!

Everton have been seven shades of shit. The right half of the back four without Coleman and Distin just woeful but our counter-attacking was marvellous and but for some doggy reffing we could be up by another goal or two.

Sterling an absolute menace. Coutinho back to his best and finding a shit load of the ball. Sturridge treating them with disdain. But arguably Gerrard has been MOTM with a big contribution on both ends of the pitch

The balance, not sure what the tinkering is, but it's doing okay. Offensive players have to put in a shift for this formation to work. We saw this at Stamford Bridge. That we have learnt from that experience is suggests this formation could work.

There was a telling moment when Sturridge could have slid Cissokho clean through into the left channel 15yards out from their box but hesitated and then switched the play with an iffy ball to Flanagan on the right. I think that says it all.
