This is what I never understand with LFC the second leg has been on sale and sold out to Dortmund supporters, yet the first leg there's not even any info out, sale dates - collect over there or not.

Don't know if Dortmund's changed much but in 2001 when we won it there, the Alten Markt was the place to be. They set up mobile bars in the square and food kiosks.....place was heaving with a mixture of Liverpool and Alaves fans, but mostly Reds - had a stage with bands playing.....remember John Power of Cast got up to play and the place went mental ! Also Erik Meier in with the supporters.....brilliant ! So hope it's similar this time - maybe get Carra in with the fans !

Liverpool Football Club will receive 3,416 tickets for the Europa League quarter-final first leg at Borussia Dortmund.

After assessing the logistics of a ticket collection operation for the number of tickets received and carefully considering the safety of our supporters, the club has decided not to proceed with a ticket collection process for this fixture following the news story previously released.

Moving forward, the club will continue to assess being able to use this process at future European away games should conditions allow.

Tickets for this game will be available online or from Anfield, with full selling details to be released shortly.

disappointed its 3416, was hoping rumours of 4000 were true. My Beşiktaş from last year wont be enough for this (and yes, i was one of the few that were there). sensible from the club that they are not doing collection out there.

They were never going to bother with a collection system at a game as popular as this. No need. Good that they've announced this quick though. Full announcement tomorrow with first sale on Tuesday would be my guess.

direct train was 46-50 minutes.

I think it'll be 11 because all the home leg sales are 8.15 next week
