I have been thinking about this, and just the fact the it is so difficult to decide shows you that the lad scores some belters!

For me though, it has to be the one against Newcastle, because that is the one that requires the most technique, anticipation, creativity... you name it. Amazing goal. And the fact that I was standing in the Kop when he scored it probably makes me a bit biased to pick that one.

Special mention to the 2nd free kick against Zenit though. The perfect combination of power and curve.

It's either the third v Norwich or that goal against Newcastle. Both just utterly breathtaking.

Yeah, I'm inclined to say that the goal against Newcastle was the best, but thinking about the third against Norwich, it was amazing. I looked at the finish and thought it reminded me so much of God's against Villa, where he turns Staunton and lets rip with a shot that keeps rising, mid way into the goal....

He's unreal and when he scores goals like that I don't scream, I just sit there laughing and giggling like a schoolgirl. Fucking weird.

Also to the people bringing up the Suarez/Dirk Kuyt goal. IF dirk hadnt tapped it in it would have been an own goal off evra. It was going across the goal before it deflected off evra towards goal. Still sublime technique but it would not have been his goal.

Not the best goal but certainly one of my favourites is the second goal away to Norwich last season.

He misses a relatively easy 1 on 1, the Norwich fans start giving him a ton a shit and during their 'wanker' chant he makes a tackle from the goal kick, nutmegs the defender and puts it into the corner with the outside of his right foot from the edge of the box. That summed up the sort of player he is, never does he put his head down.

First and third against Norwich this season. I just didn't believe what I was seeing. Clearly remember thinking "fucking hell, did that just happen" on both. One of the best performances I've seen in a Liverpool shirt.

The dribbles agains Man U for Kuyt's tap in was technically not his goal, but that was the "aha" moment. After that you just knew he was something else.

I'd go further. I can think of only three or four players I've seen - ever - who might have pulled it off. Cruyff deffo, Maradona deffo, pele deffo and bestie probably. That said, I've never seen any of those four ever score a goal as unique. Loads of amazing goals, dribbles etc but none with such unfeasible technique in such a confined space at that pace.
