This fabled fight has been a disaster from the start. They should have just made the Dillian Whyte fight. Now Fury, Usyk & Wilder are all occupied. AJ will probably end up fighting Manuel Charr or Luis Ortiz.

I know that he's got his bus pass now, but taking a Cuban southpaw at a few week's notice would be a ballsy move.

I remember Charr being on the end of a brutal KO from Briedis when the latter briefly campaigned at heavyweight. Later that year (2015), he was shot three times in the stomach

Not much to work with there. This is supposed to be his big coming put party in the US so needed to be a highlight reel KO.

The problem is he's been training for a 21 stone Miller, most of the others are much smaller or a weird style like Grandpa. Whatever happens it will make Joshua look ordinary, like when he switched to Takam at short notice.

Stylewise, Pulev would be a dream for Joshua; absolutely made to order. I could also see highlight reel wins against Charr and perhaps Ortiz after the old man tires. I've read that Hearn wants an American opponent which makes sense I suppose. Apparently, Michael Hunter is near the front of the queue; can't say I've heard of him. All I know is that he used to be a Cruiser and his only loss was a UD against Uysk which is hardly something to be ashamed of. I also see that he knocked out giant lumbering Oaf Ustinov last time out. Oddly enough, this lad may be a better fighter than Miller; but it's hard to say.

Anyway, Khan this evening. Expect him to win the first 2 or 3 but after that Crawford to dominate, khan might see the end of the fight though. Fight should be around 4.30am, might have to watch the rerun.

I've a feeling this ends earlier than people think. Khan is still only 32 but if his reflexes have dulled even a bit, he could get caught clean far more often than expected. Crawford doesn't have Julian Jackson power but he can bang (ask Indongo) and as you say, Khan tends to walk into punches. Also, Khan has been very inactive; his KO loss to ginger was three years ago and he has just two fights against low-level opposition since; one of which was a complete farce. Khan has been a pro for 14 years now and is reliant on his speed, I believe that he may be slower than he was; especially at 147; bad news against someone as quick as Bud.

Crawford inside four rounds wouldn't shock me.
