Have been to a couple of restaurants recently that don't appear on the list so thought id add my tuppence. Also have been to the Panoramic a couple of times and thought it was absolutely fantastic (even though it requires a bit of saving up for) and also Alma de Cuba which was top quality. Must add that I wasnt too impressed when I went to 60 Hope Street, simply because for a such destination restaurant I found the menu fairly bland and the food of just an ok quality which for me wasnt good enough for the prices they were charging.

I had sweet chilli chicken skewers followed by a Hawaiian Burger and she went for the Baby Scallops then the Roast Lamb. Washed down with with a decent bottle of Aussie Cab Sav we bought from Oddbins (its byo) We also shared a cheesey garlic ciabatta with the starters.
My chicken was succulent and pulled apart perfectly and worked great with the lashings of sweet chilli. The Scallops were piled high and served with a great lemon mayo. I was a bit disappointed by the ciabatta tho, it simply put was cheddar on some warm bread. My main was ideal, a big chunky beef burger topped with pineapple and cheese with some big fat chunky chips. The roast was not so great, the lamb just standard reheated chain pub stuff, the sweet potato mash a bit too wet and the veg just some mashed broccoli.
Eating in a cosy bohemian front room with banksy prints on the walls and an Eva Cassidy album drifting along in the background its exactly what a little bistro on Lark Lane should be. The service was relaxed and friendly although the young gay waiter's boxers were on prominent display.
Definately, not for the roasts tho.

Absolutely
- Any known offers of fixed menus?
They do a brunch menu in the day.
£24 for food and £8 for the wine
Great value because of the bring your own (it has to be wine/champagne mind, no beer), and some real top quality food thrown in. For a quiet chilled out meal id give it a 7.5/10

I had the Churrasco- sirloin steak and the mrs had the T-bone steak and we shared a bottle of Malbec.
Impressively huge perfectly prepared steaks, brilliant meat accompanied by a perfect steak wine. The veg and chips were fine but I didnt pay much attention to be honest.
I've been to a couple of "argentinian" steak houses since I went over for a few weeks in 2007 and this place is the best by some distance. The service was good but not great and there was a problem with card machine so I had to trek to a cash point after the meal, but these things happen I suppose.

I think Ive seen some internet offers floating around although we didnt use one.
£64
Fairly pricey considering we didnt have starters. For a special occasion where meat is required I can't imagine this place being beaten. 8.5/10
