When you think of great NYE nights what do you remember? For me it would be....
CREAM - those hedonistic nights listening to Oakey, Sasha, Nick Warren, Parks + Wilson etc! At times like these you remember back to what New Year's Eve was like at Cream - they were superb! I remember being there NYE 1996 when Oakey dropped the remix by Tilt of Robert Miles' "Children" - WOW! Everyone rocking... The atmos in there was great! Sad I know but I really miss those days... Also Renaissance and Chuff Chuff the mansion parties had some banging nights - Sasha at Shelley's in Stoke and then Mansfield etc for Renaissance was the business also!! Going down the local and listening to some shite on the juke box is not quite the same is it! Sorry for an absolute pointless post but I was just thinking about what I was going to do NYE and started to recall those great nights! I think dance culture at it's heyday was great - nothing been like it since - " but the kids these days don't know what they're missing! Sad but true! Long Sweet Dreams!
