Really pleased for Rafa. Almost on a hiding to nothing there in some quarters. A few weeks back I caught a game on Radio5 and there was this fella scoffing about him getting them back there at the first ask. 'Well, of course he should have done...' etc. They did keep a few players I agree, and they were out for big name in January - bigger than most other teams could begin to attract anyway, but that's a hard place to come out of. Everyone says so... EVERYONE. Every year. Repeated, ad nauseum, but there's a need to give him a kick with some pundits.
In 3rd place are Reading with 13 loses. 3rd from bottom has 19 losses. Compare to the Premiership, 3rd from top has 6 fucking losses, 3rd from bottom has 21. They may have been favourites, but you've still got to do it. Done well to keep much of them together, the aim was to get promoted immediately, and they've done it. I wonder if anyone will do the same next season? (arf)
Pleased Brighton are coming up too. Oh the joy last year seeing Boro, Hull and Burnley come up.
