We have made conceding lazy, soft goals into an art form. Our goalkeepers can collectively take a long walk - shitpile the lot if them, I can’t remember last time they saved a strike. Shocking shit.

Haven't looked good, but these are always the games we struggle in and Swansea have defended stoutly. The goal was a kick in the teeth, same old same old, but we just have to deal with it. Bit worried about Matip and Robertson's bookings, both need to be careful now.

I still have faith. Time for the guys to prove themselves. You can do it, Reds.

Really sloppy one paced first half possibly our worst of the season.

Pitch looks really heavy although the same for both sides.

Confident we can still win this - big half time team talk from Jurgen.

Lallana simply has to come on.

I hate games like this. Swansea parking the bus and relying on a scrappy goal from a set piece.

None of our front three have been able to really get free. Gomez and Robertson need to get further forward down their wings.

Mane has been a bit sloppy. Can is playing well.

No point having both Gini and Can against Swansea as they aren't going to over-run us in the middle.

Either push Gini or Can forward or bring on Lallana,

Seen this game many times before and we need to change things otherwise we aren't going to win.

After the elation of the party that was beating Man City at a packed Anfield, this is the hangover game.

Really should be beating these, they had one chance and took it.

Unlucky that Van Dijk didn't score with that header and Mane slipped just as he was about to make contact with the ball in the last minute.

Would have bet that Salah would have scored with that lob from Van Dijk but he went for power instead of placement.

Will have to step it up in the second half if we want all three points.

Gomez's positioning seems to be not what it should be, not concentrating well enough.
Just your standard Deja Vu though, beat City struggle against Swans.

Pretty standard really.
Their goal was a bit spawny too.

That was so Liverpool it isn't even funny. Swansea are beyond atrocious and they are doing a good job of ensuring we have caught whatever they have. Fuck all we could do about the goal because it was a lucky bounce, but my god we are absolutely listless going forward. A swift half time bollocking should sort it out, but that was barely second gear at best.

The only good news is that there is no chance on earth Swansea will be able to keep up those levels of running into the second half. They were running around like headless chickens, and I strongly believe they will be absolutely fucked by 60 minutes. Make no mistake, losing is not an option against this shower. God help this forum if it goes wrong in the second half...

Swansea have succeeded in getting it to be played like a training game, if not more boring. Then they got the set piece they'd been looking for.

We are struggling to get the ball through the middle, then Robertson is trying to do too much with the ball and we can't (or won't risk) make any progress at all on Gomez's side. He in particular has played like he's just woken up, wouldn't be averse to a very early introduction of TAA.

Real shame Mane couldn't quite get around that ball at the end, as our press has been our only real playmaker and we'll have few opportunities presented like that.

Only half time but we are playing this like its a friendly. Hopefully the goal will give us the necessary kick up the arse. Need a little bit of flair and creativity and need to move the ball a lot quicker.
