Thank you all for your good wishes it is now a year on and I am recuperating but slowly I still get down in the village to watch our Reds, my memory is not what it should be, I won the worst patient competition in the hospital my wife tells me I pulled the toilet pan out of the floor not knowing where you are can be a stressful experience and if the surgeon hadn't decided to operate when he did I would be playing for God's eleven, After giving up smoking for 10 years the smell of cigarette smoke was really nice so now i am back to 10 a day. I am slightly def and blind in my left eye which may be repaired and i will have a cataract in my right eye in may i will be back in hospital for new knees and an mot on my pacemaker , strange isn't it when i have to read my book when i need to remember something but there you go i still want to come home and see all my friends for a night of great company in the Saddle club, i am quite morbid being 75 soon so i have been making a list of my favourite songs for my funeral. I will be back on RAWK on a regular basis and i look forward to chatting to my friends, so i will thank you all for your best wishes, no need to say the names they know who they are. just one more thing the surgeon told me just before i left the hospital that if he had waited any longer to operate I would not be typing this now.
