There was a clash today involving Liverpool and Birmingham fans behind the Kop and it spread to the Sandon at around 20 to 3.

There was back and forth and lots of glass.

Also some pubs along County Road including The Royal Oak had been damaged by the Birmingham "Zulus" who had managed to break out of their Police escort. They also tried to attack the Sam Dodds Wine Bar.

At around 10pm tonight there was trouble at the Lord Of Warden pub along London Road opposite the Odeon Cinema where Liverpool fans attacked it because the Birmingham "Zulus" refused to come out because of Liverpools numbers.

Madness. I swear, i've never seen a higher police presence at Anfield before, not even for Man U.

Everton also had problems at Stoke where approximatley 300 Stoke were chasing 100 'loud mouth' Scallies round Stoke City Centre.

Didnt see it cos they locked the Albert doors for a bit...obviously when the zulus were attacking the club shop or sommat

These big skin heads, looked hard...then sounded like the brum from Auf Weidershen...cant take that serious

I saw shit loads of bizzies around the Royal Oak and along County Rd by the McNasty's but saw none of the trouble that you mentioned by the Kop, and that was about the time that i was there, so maybe that was just false.
There were loads of Police in town, i didnt even realise Brum commanded such a hifh presence!

I was in The Sandon when it went off,it happened fairly quick and I wasn't actually in the part of the pub where in happened.

As we got by the Kop,there was kaos,a couple of there lads got a bit of a pasting next to The Albert and there was running battles everywhere.

It's the worst trouble I've seen at Anfield for years.

One thing noticeable about those Zulu charachters is that the vast majority wore Burberry caps or scarves!

I went to the game by myself

Parked by the Elm (Westminster Road) around 2, walked up through Stanley park then up the Annie road.  Loads of scuffles, the nearer you got to the ground the more violent it became.  Saw one Brummie take the hardest punch ever, he just collapsed.  

I will admit I was glad to see so many of them get smacked, I do dislike them, remember the cup game at St Andrews a few years ago.  It was awesome.

I know we have moved on from violence and we usually welcome most away fans to Anfield, no problem.

In a perverse way I'm glad they didn't get there own way.
violence is not the answer, but sometimes, just sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.

From what I saw, I think a lot of Liverpool nutters turned out to have a little look at them.

Should the Club have given them so many tickets.

All the lads from the old days came out of retirement for it as Brum said they were bringing 300 and intended on wrecking Anfields pubs cos of the replay in 95 when 6 of theirs got stabbed. They claim that the 6 got stabbed were 'normal' fans just having a drink. You would say that wouldnt you if your lot had just been done over.

Definatley worst trouble seen at the Ground since the Brum replay in 95.

remember the cup game at St Andrews a few years ago.  It was awesome.

Yer, I was 14, went on Barnes Travel and they thought it was big and hard to brick the coach windows.

At 14 though, was fuckin terrified!

I left the Albert at 2:50 ish and didnt see a thing.
Mind you, after the amount of beers I had, i'm suprised I found the ground.

Dont know what sefton lad is on about.  i saw him in the sportsbar at 3.45, checking the half times! come on sefton lad you said you had been in town all day. lets have a bit of honesty. wre all reds you dont have to lie that you go the game. Ok you go to some games even europe, but not all of them. You try to make out you follow the reds everywhere but you dont. BIT of honesty please!!  :

Oi, DavroUk, you ever see Ste Elliott at the game these days ? I've lost contact with him and he says he goes all the aways but....Havent seen him since Man U in the FA Cup 3 years ago.
