Why all the hate directed at Rafa? Abramovich was the one who got rid of golden boy Di Matteo, and hired Rafa. Classless bunch aren't they?
..and I'd have thought the word "interim" would have satisfied the dolts!

Didn't think he had any input on signings or contracts?

He doesn't, just like Di Matteo didn't and Villas-Boas didn't before him.  I remember a press conference where Villas-Boas was asked about signing Kevin De Bruyne and he said that De Bruyne wasn't his signing and it was "club policy" or something like that.  For all their trophies in recent years, Chelsea have become a joke and the position of manager there is farcical; the club is a billionaire's play thing, the signings aren't chosen by the manager and the senior players have far too much power and influence.

Ridiculous how this has inevitably already been titled as the new 'rafa rant.' Pretty much every article reporting it mentions this.
Listening to what he said, how is that a rant? Because he didn't have a nice ol' chummy giggle with the press and expressed how his love for the plastics fans is only growing with every chant and piece of a4 paper containing the barely legible scribblings of 'rafa sux, di mateyo 4eva' he sees being held proudly aloft in the crowd?

Whether he should've said what he did while still their manager is questionable, but he speaks sense and I'm fucking glad he did ;D

You don't have to support the manager, but at least support your team. Getting behind the team and cheering them on will achieve a lot more than dedicating every match to taunting and berating Rafa. As he himself said, he'll only be there until the end of the season if even that. Attacking him won't achieve anything. Supporting the team instead in that time may well help turn a few results around though. Idiots.

Love Rafa.

Should of said Roman should pull his money from Chelsea.

Why aren't people accepting it was a 'Rafa rant', the journos didn't even need to ask him a question, he wouldn't shut up.
Great stuff and I'm made up he rammed it up the club and the supposed fans.

To a certain point, yeah.

But what I'm trying to say is that there was no Chelsea fan that loved Rafa. I think that's general knowledge (that Rafa must've known) and yet Rafa took the job. Your example with us was Mourinho, but that doesn't really apply since many people here harbour a weird "man-crush" on him  (probably 'cause he's won a lot and is a succesful manager, but that doesn't take that he's been as aggressive to us as Rafa was on Chelsea), affectionately call him "Jose", and basically would love him here since they think he'll magically win us CC, FA, the league and the CL in his first season.

So I don't think it applies  ;D

But,

There would plenty of LFC fans who'd give him a hard time, just for the schhhhhh. at Wembley, yes, we've got sad bastards too

There would be others who would not accept the Chelsea link or dislike him, as I said, I think the majority would back him.

Rafa was not that bad about Chelsea, their reaction was way over the top and every word has been analysed to death as disrespect but it really was not.

Love this man so much! I hope he gets a song when he comes to Anfield he still bleeds Liverpool as far as i'm concerned
Above all, I would like to be remembered as a man who was selfless,
who strove and worried so that others could share the glory,
and who built up a family of people who could hold their heads up high and say

                                              'We're Liverpool'.

Indeed Millwall with Cash!
He'll win the league in the next 3 years. Quote me on that.
Quote me on this, but come next season he'll be great for us. Just needs to remove the walking headless chicken next to him

I locked this because its already headed to those who think he's god, and those who don't and he's not our manager at the moment.
Yep.
