It'll always end up the Ronaldo stat padding show at this stage of his career,  the club becomes secondary.  Not worth the hassle.  Who cares if one guy scores 30 or if its shared between 4. It's still 30 goals.  What matters is the level of the team,  in both phases of play,  when getting the goals.  Those levels are what will decide the trophies. 

Long may they play Fernandes,  Pogba and Ronaldo together.

Signing him will be Ole’s downfall. Not because of his attitude or quality though. He’s the sort of player that raises expectations to competing for a title, which they’ll never do with this clown in charge.

 Hard to continue hiding when you have their depth in attack and you still can’t score at home against Villa. Also grateful that Ronaldo signed for these and not Manchester City where he could really have made a difference.

Of their 4 wins, comprehensively beat Leeds (17th), Scraped past Wolves (16th), Struggled initialy but finished strongly against Newcastle (18th), scraped past West Ham (9th). Drew against Saints but could easily have lost (15th.

It really is a poor return. Their team is such a hodge podge of different styles. An attackking LB, a defensive RB, a CB that sits deep and clears, a ball-playing CB that plays a high line, ordinary holding midfielders, a bunch of attacking midfielders looking to shoot from range, a goal-hanging striker, it seems there is no plan at all.

All three are pure luxury players. Fernandes might score 20 goals, Ronaldo might score 30 (with the aid of pens) and Pogba might bag a ton of assists. which is enough to win them games. What do they contribute off the ball though, or in terms of team play?
