11 games to go, the best strike force in the league, a chance to go 2nd if we win, then a long break to get Lucas and Sakho fully fit and ready for the run-in.

Really good team selection by Rodgers - especially the midfield. We need to approach this game exactly the same way as Arsenal at Anfield - its not all about possession - its about our shape, our pressing, and our pace on the counter. It would also be nice to be 4-0 up after 20 minutes again

I'm expecting a relatively low scoring affair as unusual as it is for us! It goes without saying that we won't get away with defensive brainfarts today! If we win today, next up is Utd away. Win/draw there and we're effectively a game clear of Arsenal because of GD and two points behind Chelsea with them to come at Anfield. Ten clear of Spurs, probably in 5th spot.

The adrenaline is flowing, my nerves are shot and its not even started yet! It's anticipation, excitement, and apprehension all rolled into one.

We been in this position many times before and Southampton certainly won't be easy.

Our last two games have shown somewhat poor form, with scrappy winners at the end, lets go out there and grab this chance by the fucking bollocks and for once, for fucking once, make us dream!

I'm sure plenty do, but I'm deadened to these things these days. Just hope the lads do the shirt proud, and the quality in attack is enough to swing the game our way.
