Round Three

Every team needs a bastard. Or a hapless defender. Or a 'keeper who doesn't know his limits.

Criterion -  Select a player who has received a red card in his Premier League career.

Deadline - 5pm GMT on 11th January, or when all drafters have submitted their selection (whichever is sooner).

Simple. Arsenal's greatest ever player.

Round Four please.

One of the best defenders in the PL and at his peak one of the best left backs in the world. Not too shabby. Would have preferred Carra but felt sure someone would have gone for him but not many seemed keen on the defenders last round.

Pretty easy choice this time. It was only really between two people. One of those will almost definitely be picked, just thinking about changing so I can block.

Well you receive a red after your second yellow card anyway.

Fucking hell - that website includes his 39 matches in the old Division One for QPR between 1990-1992 as Premier League...I need a new manager. :D

 :o

Haha, well this is embarassing. In my defense that was the first site that google threw up when I searched "all time premier league appearances". So much for trusting google.

I know we're all going for mind games.

But any chance we can leave out the really obvious ones? That's not really mind games, it's just telling us who you're gonna pick.

I've picked any one of 5 different players.

I've picked any one of 5 different players.

Aye but 'I've picked the Premier Leagues top ever goalscorer' and 'I've picked the longest serving PL player' isn't exactly mysterious is it.

Rather than I might have picked one of a number of players, it's 'I've picked this specific player'.

Doesn't matter I think, people still get blocked ;)

But either way. We haven't made our decisions yet.

We'll try come up with a suitably cryptic clue when we do :P

Lol I was only talking about one person !!

If we all leave a clue which could only be one or two players, it kind of defeats the object of sending them secretly doesn't it?

It came down to 1 of 4 people. He's only ever played for 1 team, only ever got 1 red card.
