Does anyone have any links to torrent sites for foreign films, I am looking for a Brazillian film named 'Carandiru'........Please I have been looking for ages, it used to be on the Demonoid tracker, but of course that has died now...Bastards!!

So please, any help would be greatly appreciated Rawkites.

Yep, getting it, it is on two sepearte trackers, just how to deal with the subs now?

EDIT: No seeds as the second tracker is saying 'Target machine actively refusing connection'.

Gonna leave it on for a few days,see if I get a connection, but looks like I am actually gonna have to spend money and order ob Import from Amazon or HMV or wherever.

I really need to see this film.

Just finished downloading... there is no srt file but using VLC player I could choose English subs

Nah, my port forwarding is fine Leighton, am an experienced user and all that, but just not connecting. Have just installed azurues, could you tell me the tracker that you are getting it from, from the utorrent stats section? I might then be able to add the tracker to azurues and see if that works.

What does DHT mean on Utorrent? Should I have it enabled or disabled?

I used to have it enabled, but if using private torrent sites and trackers I believe it shold be disabled otherwise your stats will ge skewed and you wont get all your upload credits or whatever due to leakage to other trackers.

If using public trackers I'd say just leave it on.

1. force start
2. update tracker

Having only just got to grips with the 20th century (no really) i now find myself trying to enter the21st century and want to learn all about torrents the protocols etc i'm sure most of you out there can give me advice on how i should set things up my main interests would be downloads of music especially the dance/disco music of the 70s/80s. I'm a reasonably quick learner and once informed the information usually manages to stay around in my head. Thanks

quite a few private site will also ban you if you have DHT enabled

Haven't really been d/loading music for at least a year, had all I needed. Been noting single tracks to d/load in that time however and now is the time to deal with the couple hundred tunes and update my library.

Anyway, used to use Bearshare and Soulseek(for albums) but would lke to know the best ones at the moment. Preferably one big one for easy to get stuff, and possibly one that is better for older stuff.

All suggestions will be researched, tried out and appreciated.
