Was convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that was a pen live, but when you see the replay it's very harsh, when you consider his distance from the shot, and the deflection off the foot. But honestly, who the fuck cares, about time a shoddy refereeing decision went our way, as Kenny alluded to in his pre-match; you just need that little bit of luck.

Think we're playing quite well, this version of Stuart Downing is actually prepared to take on his man, and even beat him - it's fucking amazing. Kuyt, Bellamy and Henderson working tirelessly, Gerrard running all over the pitch, back four solid as ever. 45 minutes to go, come on lads.

Played well, unlucky not to be at least a goal up. Adam and Downing have both played well, credit where credit is due.

Bellamy has been superb, what a signing. Going to be a nervy second half.

Some of the maligned lads doing OK tonight, although Adam simply should not be allowed within 50 yards of our own goal.
A liability when it comes to tackling...and that's being generous.
Some good work from both him and Downing though, and the rest are doing their jobs nicely
We're working hard, pressing and have largely kept tham at a distance.

We dominated that half and but for Harte (again) we'd be 2 or 3 up.

Downing and Adam are playing well (as is Bellamy). However I think Adam gave the ball away cheaply twice in a row and one lead to their goal. They've had one shot on target and they scored.

If you throw your arms up in the air and then even if the ball comes off your foot then it's handball - you've deliberately spread yourself to try to stop the shot.

More of the same and a bit more luck and we'll win this.

Definite penalty. Had his arms outstretched in front of him when the ball hit them. Irrelevant if it hit off his foot first - the question is did he move his arms in such a way as to block the ball, and he did.

We needed that though.

Great first half, been all over them and defending well excluding the goal conceded.

Think pretty much everyone has played well in that half, could do with some better use of the ball but everyones doing well.

Another great penalty from stevie, dealth with the pressure of the situation very well. quality from Agger again to win the penalty

More of the same second half should see us over the line to the final.

Think everyone has played well. Really love Bellamy! Wish he could be fit for every game!

Charlie Adam has done very well when he's had the ball too, that cross/pass to Kuyt would have been amazing. However, defensively he worries me. I know it's not his usual role or position so it's hard to really criticize that but still.

Downing's best game for us too IMO. Been very direct for once.

Savic really is having a shocker, need to keep getting at him.

Better from Downing, definitely.

Adam should be rigged with a tazer that activates when he ventures into our 1/3 of the field. Better performance going forward though.
