Everyone's really pushing for it tonight, well needed. Adam and Downing have upped their game tonight, Adam's passing is bang on. Would like to see Jordan get a bit more into it and Dirk pushing up more. We need to get some more men on the end of those balls and we could get a half dozen goals.

didn't go too bad that. they're playing very poorly, we've had much of the ball but lacking quality where it counts.

Hard to believe City scored. We are playing some nice football which is really encouraging.

I'm glad Bellamy was shouting at Downing (who is largely looking lively) for some wasteful and unintelligent passing.

Awful for the rest of the game though. Downing is a notable bit more involved than usual.

I would never have thought that penalty was harsh even if it was against us. It hits his arm when he has it in an unnatural position.

Got to keep up the momentum. Downing has been good especially the last 10 mins or so. It's vital that he carries this on in the 2nd half.

Bellamy is just electric and is causing them all sorts of problems

Their goal however showed how fragile this cup tie is and the fact that a goal can quite literally come out of nothing

We're way better than them, Adam is good in the final third but a liability in the back and I think Adam & Henderson should exchange positions, Bellamy, Downing & Kuyt are playing their socks off, Savic is the weakest link in their defense and we need to press him a little bit more IMO.

Got to score in the second half to kill any comeback for them, COME ON LADS WE CAN DO THIS.

Need to keep this up for the second half, they haven't had a decent chance apart from the goal. Jose should of scored early on, greatsave from Hart though, hes a seriously good shot stopper. Brilliant performance all round but one or two could be doing better but won't dwell on that now. Defo pen for me, you throw your body blocking a shot like that and you run the risk. More of the same please redmen. Support has been top notch too!!!
