He's been brilliant for most of the season. He's obviously getting a lot more attention from the opposition and teams are walking the edge of a physical tightrope to contain him. He's still got 13 goals this season already. Wouldn't back against him getting 25-30 goals in all comps this season. Which would be a great return.

Where I've been more impressed in Salah is his all round play. He seems a lot more involved than last season. He may end up scoring less but for me his all round play is improved. He's also occupying 1 or 2 defenders continually from the opposition. Which in turn creates space for his team mates.

He's in the Top 3 players in the league easily. He's in the Top 10 players in the World easily. And he's playing like that this season as well.

Mohamed Salah invites blind Liverpool fan to Melwood after watching viral video

Last week, Mike Kearney was hugging his cousin in the stands at Anfield after Mohamed Salah fired Liverpool into the Champions League knockout stages.

Seven days later he was embracing the goalscorer himself.

Salah invited Kearney to Liverpool's Melwood training ground after a video of the lifelong Reds fans went viral.

It shows Kearney's cousin, Stephen Garcia, talking him through Salah's vital goal against Napoli.

Egypt forward Salah saw the footage of the 26-year-old, who was born with sight problems and has been registered blind since he was seven years old, and asked if it would be possible to meet him.

As well getting to explore the facilities and being handed a signed shirt by Salah, Kearney chatted to manager Jurgen Klopp, goalkeeper Alisson and striker Divock Origi.

"They were such a nice bunch of lads and everyone was really welcoming," Kearney told BBC Sport.

"I said to Alisson 'if it wasn't for your save, the video wouldn't have gone viral as we wouldn't have gone through!' and he was laughing."

Kearney is a regular at Anfield, but says it was a surreal experience to go behind the scenes and watch Liverpool's players in action at Melwood.

"At Anfield, it's part of the world you know well, but behind the curtain it is like 'wow'," he added.

"Imagine if we win the league this season and I've been in there with all those players!

"It's just how big the operation is, how big the pitches are and how much goes into it - I'll always be grateful to Mo and the club."

The sharpness has returned and he just seems to have that extra 1-2% now, which makes all the difference because suddenly he has just that little bit of extra time and he makes it count each time with his quality. Wonderful player.

Nah not for me .... love virg but footballs about making and scoring goals and Mos in the top 3 in the world at that
The only worry is our attack is becoming really reliant on him as others productivity has dipped

He is definitely finding form at the right time, can only get better now as he gets sharper. He was always dangerous and used his pace really intelligently.

He and Van Dijk are both players who could change a club's standing in world football all by themself, and we signed two of them in the space of 6 months, along with picking up several very useful players along the way. It cannot be overstated how good our transfer business has been.

He scored with his right v Napoli!

Besides if he'd swung with his right boot yesterday the goalie would probably have saved the shot. Not because it would have been a bad shot necessarily, but because he'd have seen it coming. The jab with the left boot was disguised and completely unexpected and the poor goalie started diving once the ball had hit the net.

I wanted us to use him centrally last season, glad that he's thriving in that role this year.

He should be allowed to roam in the final third looking for space and not be restricted by starting position or by unnecessary runs to track opposition fullbacks. Instead it's better he saved his energy for finishing.
