and lastly, this. What a great finish for the 2nd.

Anyone who is a dad of a child aged about 8 will know that 8pm kick offs are a nightmare. But had to call him back down for that.

I see on MoTD that they're calling the Ozil goal an Ozil for bumping the ball on the ground to lift it high... the Mane then is a bump on the ball to lift it high but with a backheel?  :P

My eldest is 7,he watched the first half then went to bed at half time as he was shattered. Mane is his favourite player, so glad he got to see that.

One thing we've seen since Mane's arrival- he's always onsong when the team needs goals.

You can always trust Mane. He might not score every game, but when we're down and no one scores, he does! More than worth his weight in gold!

Yes. It looked very good with Mane in the middle. He looks like our fastest player to me. When he has time and space he sometimes misses basic things that a lot of players can do - a simple pass, for example; but when it's on instinct, there are few better. He can dribble and go left, right, head it, and do something completely unpredictable or spectacular. I'd keep him in the middle for the time being. Mo coming off the right is a good place for him.

I would play the same front three on Sunday. Even if Firmino passes a fitness test, stick him on the bench, as Everton fear Origi. Also, Firmino is a brilliant player and we will need a big game from him to get past Bayern Munich, for example; but his form has been a bit patchy lately, so I wouldn't be too worried about putting him on the bench so when he comes back he will be raring to go.

as Everton fear Origi.

Because their keeper made an error and he was there to knock it in? I think saying they fear him is just a tad overblown.

Origi has scored as many goals against Everton than Salah, Firmino and Mané together (3 each, since 2016).

The Mané song got a fair few renditions to be fair. The problem is that it's just a bit wool. He needs a better one.

Was just looking at his record. This is his 7th season in a row (3rd for us) that he's hit double figures in the league so pretty much from the age of 20 he's been scoring at that rate. He's upped his rate from his Southampton days too.
Here's hoping he adds to this season's total.

Seriously. It’d cost the club 1500 to stick a security guard on each players house when they’re at the game.

Not really much money to put an end to this stuff is it?

Spot on. It really wouldn’t cost that much given the peace of mind it would give players. It’s the second time it’s happened to Sadio too.

So Mane can afford his own security then? Great. The club don't need to do anything. It is not the employer's responsibility to look after the employee's belongings. Now if his car is broken into on club property that's a different matter but everything has happened on Mane's own property.

I don't disagree. It would also cost a whole lot more than £1500 to arrange security for the whole squad I reckon.
