If they're on your F&F you can buy for them, just select the number of tickets and change names in the drop down menu.

Thanks. Seem to remember a linking process years ago .

You only have to link accounts one way now, so if you've added someone to your F&F that's all that's needed, you can now buy tickets for them (providing you qualify too if you're logging in as yourself).

I've forwarded a ticket to my son, who now can't go. As an 11 year old, he's not anyone on his F&F (error on my part), but is there any way I can get the ticket back? The recall button is greyed out.

TIA.

He needs to forward it back to you (if they still allow that).

Yeah, weirdly it wouldn't allow him to forward back to me (it looked like it was going to but when go to the final screen the drop down didn't work) but it did allow him to forward onto his Mum, who could then forward on. Worked in the end.

Thanks.

If as a season ticket holder you forward a ticket to another person. Can you then have one forwarded to you for a different seat

Well it appears that as a member they have changed the rules so you can't buy a ticket, forward it then get another one, but might be different for ST holders.

Yes you can. My friend who is also a season ticket holder wanted to sit with his son. Two of my mates who sit with me couldn't make it so he forwarded his on to a member and I sent him one of ours.

Would be interesting to see if a member can have one transferred to them after forwarding one.
I think the example given in the sales thread was the member couldn't buy one after they had transferred.

If a ST holder forwards a ticket to a F & F , the F & F  cannot forward it back to the ST holder , some sort of system restriction - the F & F person needs to contact the club

I have 3 Friends and Family members who are all under 65. I have an over-65 ST, and can forward tickets to any of them.

How do I recall a ticket? I’ve passed it on to a friend who can no longer attend, it’s not on my history anymore to recall, so they just send it back to me from their account?

You can only recall if you distributed the ticket if you used the forward option then he has to log in and forward back to you.

It’s my season ticket and I can’t recall it. The website isn’t allowing him to forward it back to me either! Clubs a pain in the arse with how all this works.

They can add you on their F&F (new accounts can do this for a couple of weeks) and then they will appear on your list and you can send to them.

Tried forwarding a ticket to a mate on Wednesday around 7.40 and it wouldn’t give me the option to do it, was highlighted out, kept trying log in and out, use a different browser etc but nothing so he ended up leaving it as I had gone into the ground myself by then and it didn’t get used. Any reason why it wouldn’t let me do it? Is there a cut off time for it?

If a ST forwards their ticket to a member, who already has a ticket for the same match, can that member then forward the ST to someone on their F&F list?

A ST will not be able to forward their ticket to anyone that already has a ticket for the same match.

Forwarding is just to someone on your F+F list and the credit also transfers to them.

Distributing is to anyone (you enter their email address) and they then get an email off LFC with a link to download a one-off ticket, but you keep the credit.

Have had a strange message when trying to send a ticket for Sunday from a ST to someone in our F&F list.

They definitely do not already have a ticket for the game.

The message says " ... The maximum quantity has been exceeded by xxx
To fix this issue, please allocate the additional items to eligible Friends and Family or remove them from your basket.
Sorry, you cannot buy any more tickets to event Liverpool v Manchester City ...".

Any ideas how I can fix this ?
