Anyone had anything today yet?

Still waiting for my 3rd place/final ticket. Think I might ring the club in the morning if I’ve received nothing.

“Ticket distribution for the FIFA World Club Cup is expected to be finalised this evening (Monday December 16), with only a portion of the Category 3 final tickets awaiting assignment. Any logged queries in relation to the FIFA ticketing portal are being dealt with as a matter of urgency.

All fans who purchased tickets for this match via the club will be seated in the same section of the stadium, subject to the ticket category purchased.”

I have my semi final ticket (Match 6) but no Saturday ticket. The club have updated the info on their website, and says all tickets should be distributed by 10am Tuesday 17th. So giving it until then, and then I'll ring the club.

If you are flying with Qatar airways, for 60 notes you can by a fast track through their immigration desk, through there exec suites.

We get there at 17:15, so we paid.

Limo from there to the hotel and then on to the ground(yes, I know, but am not paying 8) )

Nice little earner that for them!

Unfortunately when we booked it was cheaper via Muscat with Oman Air so we’ve done that. Since then prices have dropped and cheaper to go direct!  ;D

Ah well. On the plus side hopefully won’t be a big international flight arriving at same time as our little plane  from Muscat. Online check in suggests it’s tiny :o . No idea why. Way back it’s a bug’un

Arriving around 7am tomorrow-can’t be arsed with that after a 7 hour flight.

Anyone on Oman Air been able to check in online without it trying to charge £16 to pick a seat? I can't find a random selection / free option.

If I'm reading the website right we can just check in at the airport. So I think we'll go for that.

It took about 45 minutes getting through the security checks outside the ground before the Al sadd v Tunis match earlier and that was with a near empty ground.

Currently on the flight over to Doha, free wifi is a gift. Just wondering what the story is with the dress code over there? I'm wearing short jeans as I usually do when going to Euro aways, and especially with heat going into the mid 20s,got chatting to a lad here says I wont get in anywhere with those, packed 4 pairs and no long ones. Will it be relaxed for the week that's in it I wonder? Any feedback from guys already over??

Enjoy lads. Be mindful of the local culture/religion as wouldn’t want any of you getting in trouble with their police! Looks great so far looking at peoples’ Instagram stories and pictures. Really glad Spirit of Shankly raised concerns too. Our fans are boss.

Was walking down the main road in the business district yesterday and took a few pics of the buildings and this security guy stops me and says I must delete a pic of buildings taken on the right hand side of the road! Anything for a quiet life so showed him 4 pics and he told me to delete one of a specific tower block must have been an embassy or something.

Was in the fan zone last night although the rain didn't help but it seems well organised and earlier in the day went to Souq Waqif which was full of Flamengo fans and is only a few stops from Sports City metro which is the one for the Khalifa stadium
