Tim Duncan was held scoreless for the first time in his career last night. He'd scored in his first 1,359 games. Not a bad streak

We shit out keks against the fuckers down the road and Pacers once again fail to close out a game. It's a great day to be a sports fan...

How many times in the last month or so have we failed to close out games? Ridiculous. Most of them we were ahead with few minutes left on the clock. Fuck this. It's infuriating.

Chicago Bulls are fucking weird. They have a brilliant roster but they are incredibly inconsistent. As a Pistons fan that makes me happy, but they have a genuine championship winning roster there (assuming Rose stays fit because Brookes is fucking useless. He's incredibly indecisive).

Rose, Butler, Mirotic, Gasol, Noah, McDermott, Dunleavy, Gibson, Hinrich. That's a deep roster.

On paper yes, but Rose is having a poor season shooting the ball, Noah is done for the season, Dunleavy hasn't played. Portas looks promising for them, so much so I think Noah would've been traded if healthy.

All true bud. And if ever there was a case for a team winning anything on paper, it's this Bulls team. When it comes to delivering on the court, they seem so short.

Butler is turning into a monster though.

Butler is a fantastic player, top 10 in the League without doubt. He should be a starter in the All-Star game for sure.

Pointless debating where the title goes at the moment, including my Bulls, because no one beats this Golden State side in 7 surely?

I still fancy the spurs to beat the warriors in a 7 game series. Looks like the real final will be the western conference one

Yup, I think the Spurs would have the measure of Golden State. Especially if the first two games are at the Oracle Arena.
Would certainly be a great matchup for the neutral fans, and hopefully they meet up in this season's playoffs.

Can't imagine how they wouldn't make it onto the All-Star team.
Draymond would have started if it was based on stats and contribution, and I've got Klay as the 2nd best SG in the league.

Not surprised. Lue is a snake and Blatt couldn't handle LeBron's ego.

David Blatt gets the bullet in Cleveland, according to Woj.

i'm surprised of the timing. They won 2 in a row after the embarassing Warriors loss and they've won 9 of 10 before that loss.
That 1 loss coming in away game in Spurs.

Rumors say there were locker room issues with him,Lebron and K Love.
Seems like Lue was more respected. I want him to fail though since he always seemesa bit sneaky and doing
business behing Blatt.

Also it's great to see Kings climbing up and giving them a chance to be a 7th or 8th seed play off team in the West.
It will be between them Blazers and Jazz I suppose. Rockets have too many stars to not make the play off's.

Brendan Haywood Comments on David Blatt's Firing, LeBron James and More:

"Coach Blatt was very hesitant to challenge LeBron James. It was one of those situations where, being a rookie coach, and LeBron being bigger than life, it was a little too much for him. I remember we had James Jones [talk] to Coach about how, ‘Hey, you can’t just skip over when LeBron James makes a mistake in the film room.’ Because we all see it.

And we’re like, ‘Hey, you didn’t say anything about that. You’re going to correct when Matthew Dellavedova‘s not in the right spot. You’re going to say something when Tristan Thompson‘s not in the right spot. Well, we see a fast break and LeBron didn’t get back on defense or there’s a rotation and he’s supposed to be there, and you just keep rolling the film and the whole room is quiet.’ We see that as players. That’s when … as a player, you start to lose respect for a coach.

Slowly but surely, that respect started chipping away where he would kind of be scared to correct LeBron in film sessions. When he would call every foul for LeBron in practice. Those type of things add up. Guys are like, ‘C’mon man, are you scared of him?’

From what I was hearing, David Blatt kind of lost the team. Then there were differences about what guys should be playing and what guys weren’t playing, from a management-coaching standpoint.

When you throw in those type of things combined with the fact that Tyronn Lue already had a lot of power in the organization, had a lot of traction, and a lot of people that were there already viewed him as the coach, these type of things happen."

They're untouchable

They put up 120 with their starters sitting out the 4th quarter against the best defence in the league. You cannot defend Curry and if you double up on him you leave other scorers free. You can try and slow down the pace but that's dangerous because you won't outscore them and they'll be aggressive and force turnovers. In a 7 game series no team is taking them to 6 games.

Their only issue is their bench. Iguodala is a scorer and Rush and Clark can drain the three but they don't get many minutes. The likes of Speights, Barbosa and Livingston don't contribute enough and if Curry and the starters have an off night then they'll be in trouble. It's unlikely though that their main 7 will be poor for a sustained period.

They're untouchable

Looking that way, they've looked most vulnerable when playing the weaker teams. The likes of Denver, Milwaukee, Sacramento, I think it's just a concentration issue then. When playing the better teams they've looked absolutely unstoppable. They've handed out comprehensive beatings to their 2 main Championship rivals in the past week.
