Liverpool FC Forum / Re: Those chants
« Last post by 9 kemlyn road on Today at 02:44:39 pm »
Funny how the BBC reporters couldn't find any footage of large groups of Liverpool supporters engaging in Munich songs either inside or outside stadiums to use in their piece.

This is not a joint problem, it completely one sided and should be called out as such. The image portrayed is that the problem is as bad on both sides when it absolutely isn't.
But it’s the bbc .from Salford ,directly across the river from old Trafford ,next door neighbours.it s basically the local tv station for Manchester and there’s no chance they are going to upset the very people they are right in the middle of.
They’re just doing what the beeb do all the time whatever the subject which is report items with ,in their eyes, balance so mancs are accused of tragedy chanting, then let’s say Liverpool fans are just as bad by Munich chanting, which clearly they weren’t.
It’s not a joint problem,it’s manc problem and all media outlets are refusing to address or acknowledge it .

Yes or no would be a better answer.

He still hasn’t answered  ;D

It’s not a trick or anything I’m just trying to understand peoples logic from one group to another.

Would just end up running concurrently you would have thought?

Guy must have a serious issue though to be fair. Carrying on gambling when his previous charges were already known.

I can’t see why. It’s a separate charge in relation to an additional 50 breaches. If they had been incorporated into his original charge, logically his ban might have been longer. Continuing to place bets when you’ve already been charged with betting offences and are facing a significant imminent ban is also an aggravating factor. If they’re proven I’d expect a further ban taking him into 2025.

Unless we're talking about a different definition of winning the ball, the actual video only strengthens my point. He just kicked Welbecks foot haha

It wasn't a foul because Welbeck ran then decided to collapse, not because Robertson won the ball.

But you can probably smell it from Rhyll on a nice day.

Forget Mainoo the biggest mystery for me is Rashford. If he was at a championship side we’d be none the wiser!

The man United boom-bust media affair really is something to behold!

Liverpool FC Forum / Re: Harvey Elliott (Harvey Daniel James Elliott)
« Last post by SamLad on Today at 02:37:45 pm »
I'm a bore on this topic.. I accept that.. but why do we need to debate his pace or anything else anymore when he's doing this at 20?

https://fbref.com/en/players/b9e1436c/Harvey-Elliott

I'm not sure I get the discussion anymore... 2+ years ago when he was a prospect ,sure, but he's basically outstanding at the top level of football - right now, today.. .and he's probably 3 or 4 years from his peak
So we can talk about how good he can get I guess but when people talk about him not being quick or strong or some shit it just reads like it's a discussion about someone at Bobby Clark's point of his career not where Elliott is
If his physical limitations were a problem he wouldn't be able to get on the ball at the top level or keep the ball or play under pressure etc etc .. he has no such problems .. I mean the kid is in the top 3rd percentile for progressive carries how slow can he be?
Yeah pace is a thing but football isnt a 100 metre running race lads!
That Fowler bloke wasn't much in the supreme speedster ratings.  Surprised we gave him a look-in.

From what I remember, he bought a massive yacht which was stupidly expensive to run. Note to self: when rich, hire your yachts as and when you need them, do NOT buy one.
