I would rather start solid defensively and slowly build up than win three games 5-2 and lose a couple 0-3. I hope its a slow cautious building start. Not expecting to get entertained by any super quick passing footy to be honest. Although the start of a new season for the reds and some fucking footy is enough to keep me entertained!!

I just watched the Werner - Ayre thing on .tv and I must say its impressive what FSG have achieved so far with Boston and now what they are actively trying to achieve with us. They have come in here, listened to the fanbase reasonably well, responded to certain issues with class internally and externally and heavily invested in King Kenny's Liverpool. We could of done alot worse than this lot, I would ave them over yer sheiks anyday, they are absolutely passionate about sport.

Tomorrow the premier league returns and I cant help think about how I was feeling this time last year. Waiting for Liverpool's season to begin last year was full of uncertainty and dread. This year no Hicks and Gillette, no debt, no Hodgson, no signings like Paul Konchesky (with respect to him), new supportive owners, decent squad with quality and depth and King Kenny back in the dugout, i try to stay realistic and not be what other fans refer to as your 'stereotypical Liverpool fan' but I admit I am dreaming a bit.....Come on you redmen!! YNWA!!
