115 charges outstanding still

The season ends the way every season has ended bar one since 2018. Inevitable.

People mocked Serie A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga for years for being "one team leagues" for long stretches, and the Premier League has been allowed by the governing bodies to become the same thing.

City would have won 8 in a row if we didn't beat them to the title in 19/20 (if they win this season too). The PL is a one-team league.

Optimist: We'll make an amazing comeback and win the League, perfect send off for Klopp.

Pessimist: City predictably won't drop any points and 'win' another title.

If City ends up winning, I sure think Arsenal bottled it way more than us this season as they were thrashing teams by 5-6 goals week in week out. We overachieved this season, every one of us was gonna take top 4 before the season if offered.

I don't think either have really bottled it - they've just run out of gas. Arsenal bottled it last year but realistically aren't capable of going blow-for-blow with Abu Dhabi and winning - they don't have the squad or the manager.

The magnitude of the missed opportunity today is now apparent... Could have run with the league in a couple of rounds...

Still in it though, but it's long odds.

Butterfly effect, this game wouldn’t have taken the same course had we won

3 points every time we lose a game.
they've dropped points against Spurs in other run ins, we just were unable to capitalise
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Martinez being ill was weird but who gives a fuck.

I agree. I had a feeling multiple teams would drop points this weekend. Unfortunately City were against Luton!

What you have to think is that if Arsenal had won our loss would have been even more gutting and hurtful to our chances

And the decision at the end wasn't given.

We get that peno and score it then we would be clear at top.

We had to win that. There was a reason many were calling it a must win. We needed the buffer.
