There was one last year we went to on the other side of the park by the ground which was all right cant remember the name

Saying that some spurs fan got slashed when he and his mates tried to start on a red on his own while his mates were at the bar

think that might be the Elmhurst on Lordship Lane. We went to the elmhurst two seasons ago and it was alright. loads of reds and a few spurs in there. we were warned not to take the shortcut across the park to the ground though.

Just read there's a tube strike planned for Sunday, anyone know anything about it, I can't find any info on TFL but it's mentioned on the Spurs website. Is this likely to affect the Victoria line does anyone know?

Looks like it starts on Sunday evening :no

So getting to the ground should be easy but getting home will be fun. I'm thinking of walking to seven sisters afterwards and getting the tube from there - if it's on that is!

Might try a Boris Bike

Yeah, the walk to Seven Sisters can be easier than faffing around at WHL station. Fingers crossed it's not too bad, it's meant to be fecking freezing at the weekend so I don't want to be hanging around for ages.

Yep a nice brisk walk to Seven Sisters should be fine on Sunday.

Spurs have posted this on their website: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/travel/news/travel-update-liverpool-251110.html

EDIT: I guess that's what you looked at in your post above

The way i read it is that, there are going to be strikes on certain lines but they dont know which, now im not being funny but to do it on the victoria line which is one of the main tube lines in london area, i cant see them affecting it espically with a 4pm game on aswell can you? the game will be finised by 10 to 6 anway, so ppl have an 1hr 10mins to get to seven sisters from the ground which should be sound. if not will have to be a 5 mins before the game finish get away. think thats our plan

All the previous strikes have started around 7.30pm so we should be alright to get back to mainline stations after the game. I will be walking quickly to Seven Sisters after our win!

Good pub that Elmhurst.

There were quite a few songs towards the end but that was close to KO time so maybe you'd left by then as we got into the ground just as the game was beginning.

Was right at the back of the upper tier on the bend near the police spaceship thing and has no problems with standing throughout, no stewards anywhere near us at all.

I was right at the front next to the Spurs fans, stood the whole time and had no problems.  The female steward next to me was a Reds fan mind!

Yeah it is mate.

Cheers mate, I'll head there then as I'm on my own. Been to White Hart Lane about 4/5 times but never found anywhere to drink pre match. First couple of times my brother was too young anyway so we'd mix vodka and Sprite, once we managed to get it into the ground with us, they were more worried about the cap being used as a weapon than the contents of the drink.

Really enjoyed my first trip to WHL today, despite the result! One of the few grounds in the country to still have an atmosphere. White Hart Lane station is an easy five minute walk away and it's a pretty quick and simple transfer to and from Euston.
Would be even more fun if you could stand up to a hook to the jaw for being a snidey bastard. But then that's reality! No one needs to 'swim or drown' in a coward's paradise.

LFC's website says there is no designated away pub.
https://www.liverpoolfc.com/fans/away-travel/premier-league

TRAVELLING TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR STADIUM:
Spurs operate a cashless stadium

A strict bag policy will be in operation and any bags that don’t meet the criteria will have to be stored at a bag drop at a cost of £10: https://ask.tottenhamhotspur.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001537020

There are no designated away pubs around the stadium, the ground will be open from 15:30 and fans are encouraged to arrive early

There are some rail disruptions planned, plan your journey in advance:  https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2019/december/travel-disruption-for-liverpool-match/

Typical of all new grounds as in the atmosphere is not great I hardly heard there fans. Bit of a walk after also back to our coaches.   So glad we stayed at Anfield and never moved to a new ground.
