Forest ran out of steam a bit after fluffing their chances and then Haaland gets one and bags it.

City are from guaranteed 4 wins though on that form, they were second best for an hour. Arsenal could have done with them in a CL semi next two midweeks.

Imagine if we were still in the race and pinning our hopes on them dropping points before they inevitably win it out. Glad we don't have to endure that torture again and nice to see another team getting a dose of it. Most Arsenal.fans I met wanted city to beat us every time so they can fuck off and have a dose of that now.

There it is. Most boring league in the land.
Congrats FA the dirty pricks.

It is not though? It is year after year the most competitive in Europe.

Of course it isnt but City raking up the titles even when everyone say they are having a off year is sickening.

City look stale.

Need a big rebuild.

Linked with Musiala. Probably bring in a £60m centre back too.

Ourselves and Arsenal will be kicking this missed opportunity.

They pretty much have 2 starting 11s, a semi final wouldn’t have made any difference for them. Bad results are the only thing that sometimes knock them off stride, they don’t get injuries.

 :lmao :lmao :lmao

I actually thought City's biggest chance of dropping points was Brighton, and yes I know they've been poor. They might not batter everyone 5-0 from here on out but I do think it's going to be won with a relatively safe run in. Spurs won't turn up against them IMO, they've nothing to play for and not a single Spurs fan in the ground will want them to win.

Spurs aren't going to let Arsenal win the title despite what some on here think. If spurs are out of CL contention it'll be an easy City win.

Comes down to that penultimate set of games where Spurs play City and United play Arsenal.

Watch Spurs go and nick something. No chance Everton or United would ever do us a favour.

He doesn't get enough credit in the media. He should be lauded far much more. Genuinely should be spoken about as one of the best midfielders in the world.

Bit stunned at how good he is. Wow what a player.

Spot on but pointing out the obvious. It's been well documented for years now that Arsenal are without a prolific number 9.

Depends if they have a shot at 4th or not you'd imagine. They'll need to beat us at Anfield and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before that.

Even if we'd won the last two games it'd be looking hopeless tonight. Today was the best chance of Arsenal dropping points '(United and Everton in their last 3 who would throw the game) and along with Spurs away the best chance of City.

We let one slip by not getting him in to replace Firmino. It would have been a seamless transition. Instead we have a forward who can't trap a ball, presses ineffectively and lacks a football brain.

His goal and assist numbers would have been similar to what Nunez is putting up but we would have an actual footballer along with the numbers.
He's incredible. We so need that.

Nunez would have been looking to aim for the keepers noggin in that situation.
These are from today. We are not playing today.

There's a fair chance Spurs have nothing to play for there. They have Chelsea and us both away as their next two. If they get two points or less from those fixtures, there's almost no chance they're catching Villa.

And if they have nothing to play for, then there is no chance they're lifting a finger to help Arsenal.

Yeah you're missing a goalscorer. Jesus isn't good enough.

I actually think they are set with Havertz as the false 9. He has been a game changer for them since the change in January. Presses effectively from the front, immaculate first touch and link-up play is elite. He knits their attack perfectly. The best comparison to a Firmino you will see.

Sums up how lazy our recruitment had gotten that we didn't see his performances as a false 9 for Leverkusen, and sign him up as a long term replacement for Firmino.

If I was Arteta, I would be looking for the elite attacker down the left rather than in the 9 position. They need to find a Salah/Mane from the left who will chip in with 15+ league goals.
