He wouldn’t tip his hand so blatantly as it would anger fans at every other club, and there are enough lurkers on here that would would spread on the reference.

It's a common theme. 99% of the questions are about bias, competence, conflicts of interest, accountability, but it's easier to label everyone with those questions as a conspiracy theorist. When actually all we want is better (or better trained) match officials - e.g. the officials in the Bayern/Madrid game last night - with more accountability (the officials and PGMOL), rather than Howard Webb's head on a platter.
