He is beginning to look a really good signing now. I love how calm he is when taking a shot, I still don't know how he got that first goal in the net.

Pretty sure I read that his finishing ability and his shooting is the best part of his game.

No matter how much you repeat it, no one is buying that he was poor before his goal  ;D

Both finishes were exceptional.  He made them look routine.

Our finishing in general was very good. Mo's volley, Gakpo's dink and Bobby's weren't easy chances.

Reminds me of Van Persie, in the sense he's got great footwork - and clearly has a very strong right foot (as Van Persie did a left) - not the quickest, but quick enough.

Loving the development of exploring the spaces between the lines and the addition of the pressing game....he has every opportunity to become a massive player for us.

It was only a few weeks ago the Mancs said they'd dodged a bullet by not signing him. That bullet has hit them all in the arse today.

Two incredible finishes. There’s a good balance with him, Nuñez, and Salah in attack.

Didn’t think we’d see a finish similar to Coutinho’s, but he managed to replicate it.

He had a great second half. The bar set for for him is just inexplicably high. He needs build on this and have similar performances for the rest of the season. It's unfortunate for him he still has the weight of expectations from fans.. It's just era of the *trio* were just so damn good.

The team had a mental block, the first two goals released the tension in the side and the rest comes natural

I don't know why we signed him, I don't know what he does.

Yep, it seems he’s in a lucky streak atm. Besides the goals, good finishing, good shooting, great technique, good link up play and passing, fairly quick and agile, can play wide, false nine, target player,  what is he actually good at?

That chip was fucking delightful.
That was a special finish. Was mad that Shreeves thought the first was the better finish in the interview post match.

Reminded me a bit of Coutinho chipping it past de Gea on his line at an angle too (at OT in the Europa league), although this one was first time with a ball coming at a tough angle.

His technique has been consistently great since arriving.

I've watched that second goal so many times. The finish is outrageous. The first was great too, cutting in and driving that ball into the bottom corner. I thought his whole game today was excellent, he was constantly involved in the build up.

Some posts from a few pages back are embarassing, if you're not banging them in in your first 2/3 games then you're considered a flop. Saw him at the World Cup, he was quality.

Reminds me of Dele Alli.

Absolutely ridiculous use of vital funds when we needed a midfielder or two.

Should be 6th choice when everyone was fit.

If Origi started 6 games I'd expect 2 goals.

We could've just kept Origi and 40 mil.
Wonder where this guy is now.
