Real Madrid are handing out an absolute battering. 4-0 up at half-time in Betis.

that fourth goal was a thing of beauty, incredible counter attack ending with Pepe putting it on a plate for Isco.

I think Nadal is brilliant. One of the top 10 ever.

A competitive weekend.

There are going to be weekend's like this. Real and Barcelona have the finest players in the world at their disposal, they'd batter most PL teams too. The weekend before the international break saw Real draw and Barcelona get a kicking in Vigo.

There are chasms in this Real defence. And there's 1 back for Betis.

Wow, Atletico after 8 games: 21 goals for, 3 goals against.

i haven't been watching, but have they improved in attackthis year? If so, what's the difference?

The difference is Simeone decided playing 4 CMs is not a good idea after all. Correa, Gameiro, Griezmann and Carrasco all started today.

So they've fielded more offensive teams without losing much defensively?

Pretty much. I suspect when they're up against better opposition we'll see Simeone revert to type. He's certainly gone a lot more attacking against the weaker teams though.

This could really take them up a notch in La Liga, and Simeone himself as a coach.

Simeone is already the best manager in the world and no one comes even close to him, now that he's adapted to smashing these smaller sides he's pretty much flawless as a manager.

Espanyol got a last minute equaliser at home vs Eibar earlier - Eibar are 8th - and looking decent. Highlights here - http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2016/10/22/espanyol-vs-eibar-highlights-2/

Barca are away vs Valencia today with a 3.15pm kick off - be interesting to see how they get on after playing City in the CL earlier in the week and picking up a couple of injuries too.

The game is not on tv in the UK, so some streams here:-

No worries - http://baltak.com/channel32.php is in Spanish - but looks decent quality on full screen.

The https://www.reddit.com/r/soccerstreams/  link will likely have some quality links to decent quality streams just before the game kicks off ;)
