Cheers boys! Don't want to be a pain, but does anyone know where I can find the movie with hard coreds subs too?
You gonna be alright picking this up week by week or you want me to post a link for you as Snowy puts them up?

Read the book and watched the film a few years back. Loved both. Thanks for this, will have to track it down. Looks great.

Watched Episode 4 last night.  Its sort of simmering along. It is still good like but not really going anywhere substantial at the moment I feel.  I just can't put my finger on it.

Anyone know how many episodes in the first season?

According to IMDB there are 12 episodes, so we are a third of the way through.

Cheers for the info.

12 episodes, great!!  Worried it was 6 or 8 so not got a problem with it being a slow burner anymore. Plenty of time yet.

Agree with this. Even though you can hardly say there was no action as god knows how many were killed in the last episode but still doesn't seem like much is going on. Bit disappointed in a way but plenty of episodes left yet.

Spoiler
presumably that's the end of Don Pietro ever having a sniff of getting out again if they've got him for that
[close]

Spoiler
Not sure about that, in the teaser for the next episode you see Don Pietro doing press-ups in his max security cell.  My guess is Ciro will take over and Don Pietro will get out eventually. That's when there will be fireworks

Next episode.

They have got the episode synopsis completely mixed up then Dave. Which is shite because they are essentially spoiling one episode ahead.

Next weeks episode is supposed to be:

Spoiler
Ciro embarks on a dangerous mission to find Conte and negotiate a truce between the clans

Cracking show. No room for sentiment. If it is even slightly realistic (which I know it is), that Scampia place must be some hellhole.

Last nights episode was bloody good.

Spoiler
The bit with Ciro and the Russians in Barcelona was intense.  Love Don Conte too, he's one ice cool mother.

Still can't work out what the hell is going to happen with Genny. He's off to Honduras to tie up a drug deal and I don't see him coming back to be honest.

More Ciro and gangsta shiiiiite please I want to see more lads being pissed on, or something to that effect. That's what we're here to see!

Not looking good for Genny alright, the big mommies boy with bad taste in birds.

The weirdest part of that episode was reading subtitles of a guy translating from Russian to Italian. It made me feel very European. As a good a mob sit down as you're likely to see as well.

Its all getting a bit heated now ain't it?

Spoiler

Serious question. Is it the same actor who played Genny before he went to Honduras? Genny isnt happy in any case.

Loved the bit last night when they killed the loan shark 'Lollipop' on the roof.

Lollipop: You cant treat me like this Lady Imma, I'm not one of your kids.

Imma: Is that right? I'll show you how you should be treated.

I think so, unless they want to really confusing.

A scene that stood out for me was when the hoods and Lady Imma arrived to check out the new selling spot, the place had loads of kids playing around the place and not one fuck was given that they were about to fill the place with junkies. Like they weren't even there, not even as important as collator damage.

Lady Imma's revulsion then when the virgin Mary's head was decapitated, talk about priorities. Twats.
