Received an email from Astraweb today saying that they've been unable to charge my credit card and that I need to provide card details to reactivate my account.

First thing, I've probably not paid a penny to Astraweb for two years plus (but my account is still active and in regular use). Secondly, I've just checked and my account is still active and working fine.

Seems to remember somebody else in here saying that Astraweb stopped billing them - I guess I'm not the only one?

Anyone using Tweaknews? If so, is it better than Astraweb?

Tweaknews have got an offer on at the moment - €48 for a year of unlimited usage with VPN included. Contemplating jibbing Astraweb for it.

I dropped Astraweb years ago for Tweaknews, it has way less takedowns. I changed from them to Eweka but only because it had a better offer at the time with IPVanish included for free. Both of them are much better than Astraweb.

I may go back to Tweaknews now though!

I might try a year of tweak. I signed up for an astraweb unlimited deal years ago, and have never changed. The only problem is on older stuff, I don't think the retention time is great. I just checked tweak and it's 2,500 days, I think I may switch.

I use Tweaknews as my server and DOGNZB as my indexer. Been working like a charm for a few years now.
