Best thing about this show is that with each new episode Penny's tops get smaller and smaller...

its a great show, and having worked in a physics department for nearly three years now, the characters are not that far fetched at all

Exactly, I grew up around people like these that's why I find it funny.

Maybe not as eccentric as Sheldon but still up there in terms of geekyness

Go to any physics department at any university in the country and you are bound to run into a raj or Howard

I dont think they are portraying him out to be like someone everyone knows, just an extreme representation of a geeky science nerd! Either way, his face just makes me want to stamp on it!!

Two separate ideas there. The whole point is that he's incredibly annoying.

Oh and he knows nothing! Superman was only depicted to jump rather than actually fly in the early comics. Afterwards (40's or 50's), the character could actually properly fly! Twat!

And you might want to try out for a cameo on the show.

Is it sad that I can see aspects of myself in this show?

As it stands I'm probably going to be trying to stay in uni for as long as humanly possible and going for PhD studies, which means some time in the next five years my life will become not too far away from The Big Bang Theory.

was brilliant last night

on the sheldon, no one must know anyone like him i beg to differ

today i was at Daresbury Laborotories doing some data processing shit on some software over there and a fella came in to ask me if i had taken his sandwich, he was completely and utterly like sheldon, i thought he was taking the piss, untill i mentioned it to someone who works there full time, who has never seen the show, but says he is allways like how he is.

I plan to go through his research and find just one error to wreck his world
