Be nice to finally have a home draw but I think it be Arsenal or Palace away.

Expecting an away tie against one of the other big boys, whilst Utd get Palace or Cardiff at home.

Or a home game would be nice.

anyone away will do for me.

9,000 at OT again as in the 3rd round of the FA Cup last year would be quality.

I'd gladly take:

Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Chelsea
Man City v Man Utd
Cardiff v Blackburn

It'll probably be:

Man City v Liverpool
Man Utd v Cardiff
Arsenal v Blackburn
Chelsea v Crystal Palace

I am expecting it. Mostly because my in-laws are all City season ticket holders and I never hear the end of it when they beat us.

I enjoy reminding them that Andy Carroll wasn't quite so "shite" as they make out against them at Anfield last season..!

Not sure the allocation rule applies to the Carling cup as it does the F.A Cup, whwre away team has to have a % of the ground capacity.
Agree would be nice though and beat them this time.

Honestly Home to any of Palace, Cardiff, Blackburn for me, we wanna win this thing!

I think Blackburn could be dangerous, by the time the game comes around they could have a new manager and the chabge could do wonders for them.
Let us never forget Rafael Benitez and what he did for us. A fighter full of guts and passion. A gentleman full of class and dignity. A football manager full of intelligence and pure genius. A Legend.

Blackburn v Man City (and Rovers to win 2-1)

Palace v Man Yoo (small team from Salford to edge it 3-2)

Cardiff v Liverpool (1-1 after 90mins, Kuyt in 115th min to send us into the semis)

Arsenal v Chelsea (Chelsea to win 3-0)

Us v Mancs in the Semis (win 4-3 over two legs)

Rovers v Chelsea (rent boys 4-2 over two legs)

Final : LFC 3 Chelsea 1  (Suarez, Gerrard, Adam) Mata for them - Torres sent off 88th min

All happy with that?  ;)

The hardest draw United will get is us at their place.

Other than that, they will get Palace or Cardiff.

They wont get City, us, Arsenal, or Chelsea away. Guaranteed.

you forgot to tape Utd and Crystal Palace to the inside of the hat so to be sure of that draw, do it again with that combination locked in for a more realistic simulation

It'll do I guess. :P

Not convinced with Rovers beating Man City though to be honest!

We got the whole end at stoke when usually we only get half so I think it does apply.

I can see United getting City at Old Trafford.

Cue a general media frenzy about the rematch. It would be the media's dream tie. It would also lend a nicely low key atmosphere to the build up to all the other games...
