Love to see all three up.

Think Huddersfield have all the momentum.

I actually think they are gonna bottle it

I'd agree if it was someone like Pardew in charge, but has a Rafa team ever 'bottled' it? I don't even remember a significant losing run under us never mind a collapse. He's the main reason I think they'll get over the line, but it's going to go down to the last few games. Hudderslacks aren't going anywhere, though you'd think fatigue might play a part at some stage.

Newcastle btw are 33-1 on to go up, Brighton 10-1 on.

Fulham 11-4 is tempting, can see them doing it

Huddersfield 6/5 not good.  3/1 top 2 seems a better bet.

Well, we had the exact same number of points (77) seven years ago under Hughton after 37 games played, but it’s interesting that our goal difference seven years ago was better than today.

We had scored more goals and conceded less goals than we have done this season.

With Hughton in charge we went on to win eight of the last nine games and drew the other one (2-2 at home to Ipswich) to end up on 102 points.

Somehow I don't see us finishing on 102 points this season, do you?

I can understand why you'd like the Mackems to go down, especially if you go up - But don't you miss the derby games against them?  The whole build up in the respective cities in the week before the game, the anticipation of the game, and ultimately the game itself (though the Toon's recent record against the Mackems isn't great is it?)
This season there has been no Tyne/Wear derby.  Forgetting about the recent results against them for a minute, haven't you missed it?

As much as we'd all piss ourselves if Everton went down, there is something about the expectation of the derby game.   If you also win it, it's the icing on the cake, and bragging rights for a few more months!

Yeah Paul, but all things are relative.

You can only be as good as you can, in your own era. Comparing this team with the team of old is a bit disingenuous. As an example, what's to say that the Championship isn't stronger today, than in the past etc.  Hence, harder to win games.

In a nutshell, mate.  As long as you come up, who gives a fuck how, why, or how many points and goals you've got.

Ohh man, I miss the derby games like you wouldn't believe and it's the 1st 2 games I look for the day the fixtures are released (when we are in the same league that is).

The excitement starts about a week or so before the game, the piss taking with the Mackems is just great.

I'm prepared to have no derby games again next season simply so I can remind them where we are, and where they are just as they are doing to us this season.

At one of the derby games, and it was years ago, at our place that little c*nt Kevin Phillips scored and he ran over towards us with his arms up in the air and pulling faces.  Somebody took off a trainer and launched it at him, missing by about a yard but it was still a good effort.

He was thrown out and lost his season ticket because of it     :-(

Both Brighton and Newcastle got tough away matches too.

A win though would heap pressure on Huddersfield who would be 9 behind with a game in hand but time running out.

The Championship is just bizarre at times. Bristol City hammered Huddersfield. They could have been 3 off Brighton and Newcastle.

With Anita - Ritchie down one side and Dummett - Gouffran down the other it's not exactly set-up to be a corker.

Could change the game obviously with Gayle and Atsu later.

They've gone from the edge of the playoffs to a few places above the relegation zone since they sacked Rowett and brought in Zola. I imagine most fan bases would struggle to get excited with that context!
