Togger deffo isnt scouse.Ive heard it used down south quite regularly.Nor is Gozzy or SPOT or Kerby.
As per Johnno happy to be corrected on Togger being used by others (northerners?)
SPOT has loads of different names across the country and i guess its probably called SPOT in other places. Actually played it on holiday this year with a fellah born in Brum and he called it DONKEY
As I havent played Kerby since i was about 11
I cant vouch its not used by others but its got that Scouse way of making a word by adding a y to another word to make a new one
Gozzy though is met with utter confusion by everyone outside of Merseyside I've ever met. If others do use it I reckon its derivation is pure scouse
Just tested the theory on a mate of mine who lives in Greenock(as in Morton) he had no idea what togger or gozzy was but played kerby as a kid. Wierdly cannot fathom the rules of SPOT!
