really sounds like a drink drive accident

Except the parts where they say alcohol wasn't involved. That's atypical for drunk driving.

Story here: A source told WESH 2 News that Woods has been treated for facial lacerations.

So maybe the injuries were bad enough to warrant treatment, but not bad enough to keep him hospitalized. That's good news. Just wonder what happened.

Well the story is prob accurate re the accident.  25mph into a fire hydrant pulling out of his drive.  Prob enough to give a few superficial cuts and bruizes.  What was inaccurate it would appear are the usual media sentationalist stories of a near fatal car crash.

The term 'serious' was in the official statement from the police.

No one else find this story a little bit odd? Especially as his facial injuries aren't common with that type of crash?

Phil Taylor's record pisses on Tiger Woods. He is better under pressure. Tiger Woods can't hack the Ryder Cup.

We're discussing sportsmen here.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

The 33-year-old's wife Elin told police she used a golf club to smash out the back window of the car after hearing the crash from the house, local Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told the Associated Press news agency.

Can you imagine she used one of his collector's item clubs to do so
