They don't. We lost to them 3-0 the last time we played them, but leading up to that we had won 7 out of the 8 games against them [the other being a draw]scoring 27 goals, and conceding 5.
And that defeat was our first in 28 games, having won 27 and drawn 1 of the previous matches (including a 2-0 win over Watford earlier that season).
I think the idea of our 'bogey' teams is a hangover from the years before Jurgen arrived. Many still think teams like Watford, Palace, Burnley, West Brom, etc. are always a thorn in our side, yet the results don't suggest that's been the case for a long time now.
We steam-rollered all of them in 2018/19 and 2019/20 and will do so again next season
