Men who walk past the urinals in toilets and go into the cubicles for a piss. Often with the seat down. What the fuck is up with them. Man up for fuck sake.

Do you mean pissing standing up with the seat down? Or just sitting down to take a piss? If it's the former, that's a shitty thing to do.

The latter? Sometimes a man just wants a sit down and a chance to read their phone in peace! There is nothing "manly" about opting for the urinal.

Well at home I am strictly a ‘sit downer’ Have been for years. People used to mock me, but not now, it’s becoming popular. As we get older it’s not easy to direct it where you want it to go. Everywhere else though I man up and stand.

Have you asked them? Maybe they have a genuine reason for doing it. I know someone that does. Bit of a shitty comment

Chill out. I’m not being deadly serious ok.

Seems very unmanly to me, to do something when you are out and about, that isn't your normal preference, in order to live up to your perception of what others will think of you.

Grow up

Think it's you that needs to go the growing up 'Lad', given you think standing at a urinal to take a piss in public somehow makes you more of a man than someone that uses a cubicle.

Quite clearly never said about men locking themselves in cubicles to have a piss. Those who stand there with the door open were the ones I was referring to. And references about manning up were clearly tongue in cheek. In fact the whole thread is generally light hearted. You’ve really got your knickers in a twist ‘mister’.

Just found out that an ambulance and fire engine that came screaming through the line of traffic I was stuck in on Saturday, caused by a serious crash between 2 bikes and a car on the M74, were going to an 11 yr old boy who drowned about 200 yards away from us  :'(

Fuck, one of the bikers died too  :'(
Used to spend a lot of time up and down the M6/M1  Often caught in stationary Traffic and fucking fuming!  One day I finally crept past the crash site that had caused the hold-up. Turned out to be a Family from N wales that had been hit by a lorry. The lorry ended up on top of them. The car burst into flames and an entire family is gone. Burned to death. A week later I am passing the spot and the crash site was evident by the new road surface. Had tears in my eyes for the last 40 miles.  Never get angry now in traffic. Rather be in it that what caused it.
Better today than yesterday...........
           even better tomorrow.

Hermes are an absolute nightmare.

Paid for next day delivery. It's clear late on the next day it won't be delivered.

So there's an option to have it delivered to a locker nearby ( as I wouldn't be in).

Out for delivery the following day, late that day message from them saying it's too big for a locker and so has to be delivered to my home address.

I'm in all day. Message to say it'll be delivered between 4pm and 6pm.

Nothing arrives.

Wake up the next morning and check the tracking. They've tried to deliver it to the locker again (which is too small).

Throughout this you can't ring and speak to anyone and their chat function is just a chatbot. You cannot speak to anyone there. No option on tracking to divert it (despite their website saying you can do it as many times as you like).

I was chatting to the retailer who said there's nothing they can do (it was another suggestion from Hermes to talk to them).

They say they'll request Hermes to return the item and I'll get a full refund.

I source the items from elsewhere.

9:50pm last night there's a knock at the door. I look through.

No-one there. Open the door and the parcel is left on the step .

Tracking details say it's been delivered to the locker.

Edit. They've now sent me an email saying they'll deliver it tomorrow.

How is this company still in business

Don't have it often now but got a delivery the other day and thought it was a joke for the price. We paid 15 quid each. I got a zinger burger meal. The burger had about 2 pieces of lettuce and looked like it was thrown into the box, all squished. There were about 10 chips as well.

If I went and actually got it I would have taken it back to be honest.

Probably going to swerve it entirely from now on.

Over the years we have sent hundreds of parcels through them with next to no problems but the most common complaint is that parcels seem to arrive there like the lads in the sorting hubs have been playing six a side footy with them
If you see a lovely field with a family having a picnic, and a nice pond in it, you fill in the pond with concrete, you plow the family into the soil, you blow up the tree, and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife who is also your brother.

Listening to some first grade bleating from people who don't want to get vaccinated.

My brain works in the same way as the seeming majority of people. If government scientists and enough people in the media tell me getting a covid vaccine is the right thing to do and I don't want to get sick so I along with billions of others who are not contagious disease specialists just go ahead get the vaccine.

I live in a part of the world where grown otherwise respected adults don't want to be told what to do and want to bleat on social media how it is their body, their choice and the scientific arguments are all flawed. The crazy thing is that as we don't have an NHS, if they get sick then it is their money spent on healthcare and their lost income if they get sick. I just do not understand the attitude of these people at all.

And the scary thing is if there was an election next week the fat guy would mostly likely win, by claiming the credit for the NHS rollout of the vaccine...and I'll quote someone ringing up LBC the other day 'he makes us laugh'....

I was told by a woman at work, who I have always got on well with, the "there is not one person in the country who could have done a better job than him, I really like Boris" It really took me a while to think who she was talking about, because obviously noone would say this about the prick in Number 10 surely. She then went on to tell me proudly that she has voted conservative twice in her life, once for this tosser and once for Thatcher. We now havent spoken for weeks as I just cant.

I'd happily pay extra to avoid them.

If I'm honest I reckon it depends on you're area and particular courier.

We used to live in Chester and had few problems. The lady was retired and aside from her smelling like an ashtray there was none of this.

Moving to Birmingham it's been nothing short of ridiculous. I understand they are under pressure for times and deliveries, but I shouldn't have to take a parcel back that I paid extra to have delivered on Monday.

Thankfully my new shipment is from DPD. No complaints from me

Laptops are a nightmare. We get very expensive Consultant's in and cannot provide them a laptop right away. It's frustrating as hell.
I have no idea what I’m taking about

We've got 3 month lead times on laptops from Dell at the moment, absoute nightmare.

Our containers are constantly getting pushed back 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks, sometimes a month (our stuff comes mainly from China / South Korea / Bulgaria). Thankfully our clients are pretty understanding in the main because as you say, it's happening to everyone.
