There a strange firm to say the least . I sell on ebay and we do certain items through them and it's a regular thing to get a message before someone buys asking if we will send it through Royal Mail instead and they will pay any extra
Over the years we have sent hundreds of parcels through them with next to no problems but the most common complaint is that parcels seem to arrive there like the lads in the sorting hubs have been playing six a side footy with them
I'd happily pay extra to avoid them.
If I'm honest I reckon it depends on you're area and particular courier.
We used to live in Chester and had few problems. The lady was retired and aside from her smelling like an ashtray there was none of this.
Moving to Birmingham it's been nothing short of ridiculous. I understand they are under pressure for times and deliveries, but I shouldn't have to take a parcel back that I paid extra to have delivered on Monday.
Thankfully my new shipment is from DPD. No complaints from me
