felt likely, but wasn't 100% klopp's used Alli before in the domestic cups based on circumstances (eg Wolves when form was bad last season and Arsenal last league cup semi).

As someone advocating rotation and the young team that brought, i was in favour of Alli coming in to help everyone out (including Kelleher, since it improves our chance of making a final where he'd be guaranteed a start). As it is, it's the biggest drop off in terms of replacements from the bournemouth game (although the quality is still really good)

yeah there's no way Klopp won't pick him for the final if we get there, assuming he's fit. I too would prefer Ali but it would be very unfair on Kelleher not to play the final having played in all the other games

Cant see this being an easy game, they are decent at home.

We will go at this with an emphasis on defensive strategy and try to catch them on the break.
